Coincidentally all hosts won their games.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Svendborg (15-2) on the court of eighth ranked Horsholm on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by Horsholm 80-79. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Svendborg. Svendborg trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 21-9 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 79-80 at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Robert Fields (185-88, college: Catawba) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and the former international forward Casper Hesseldal (198-85, college: Dickinson St., agency: Dynamics Global Management) who added 12 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Horsholm's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American power forward Donald Rutherford (199-87, college: Catawba) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds. Horsholm (5-11) moved-up to seventh place. Svendborg at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. Horsholm are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Aalborg (#10) on the road in the next round. Svendborg will play against Aarhus BC (#8) and is hoping to win this game.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Aarhus. Second ranked host Bakken (14-3) smashed 4th ranked SISU (10-7) 85-65. The winners were led by the former international power forward Nicolai Iversen (205-80, college: San Jose City JC) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and Chris Christoffersen supported him with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Bakken's coach Philip Dejworek allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds by American center Zack Moritz (210-88, college: Boise St.) did not help to save the game for SISU. Defending champion maintains second position with 14-3 record behind leader Svendborg. SISU lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Naestved. Bakken will play against Horsens IC (#3) in Horsens in the next round, which may be the game of the day. SISU will play at home against Vaerlose and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Ninth ranked Vaerlose (4-13) crushed at home 7th ranked Aarhus BC (5-12) by 26 points 95-69, which is the biggest margin this round on Sunday night. The best player for the winners was Richard Delk who scored 29 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Vaerlose's coach Thomas Silfen felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hristo Petkov produced 16 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Vaerlose maintains ninth position with 4-13 record. Aarhus BC lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth place with 12 games lost. Vaerlose will meet higher ranked SISU (#4) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Aarhus BC will play against the league's leader Svendborg (#1) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
