The game between Top Four teams took place in Horsholm. 3rd placed host Horsholm (8-7) was smashed by leader SISU (14-0) 100-71. The game without a history. SISU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 21 Horsholm turnovers and outrebounded them 39-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for guard Ida Pretzmann (174-90, college: TCU) who led her team to a victory scoring 26 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). American center Marie Malone (191-89, college: Hofstra) helped adding 13 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was swingman Therese Deemand (175-83, college: Binghamton) with 13 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated SISU have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 14-0 record. Horsholm at the other side dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost. SISU are looking forward to face Aabyhoj (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Horsholm will play against Falcon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Bottom-ranked Horsens (0-15) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 15th consecutive match to third ranked Falcon (9-5) 86-38. It was an exceptional evening for American center Trenice Fuller (193-87, college: Hofstra) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Sarah Amalou accounted for 9 points and 4 assists. Guard Sarah Bersang (168-95) came up with 10 points for Horsens in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Falcon. They maintain third place with 9-5 record having five points less than leader SISU. Horsens lost their fifteenth game in a row. They still closes the standings with 15 games lost. Falcon will play against Horsholm (#4) at home in the next round. Horsens will play against Amager (#6) in Kastrup and hope to get finally their first victory.
Bottom-ranked Horsens (0-15) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. They keep the seventh position with 11 games lost. Vaerlose's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Lemvig at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
