An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Falcon. Third ranked Falcon faced one of their biggest challengers Horsholm. Host Falcon (10-5) defeated guests from Horsholm (8-8) 66-58. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 38-25 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Falcon outrebounded Horsholm 42-26 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. American center Trenice Fuller (193-87, college: Hofstra) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Power forward Tone Heiberg (183-92) chipped in 21 points and 8 rebounds. Falcon's coach Ole Vincents used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Therese Deemand (175-83, college: Binghamton) produced 17 points for lost side. Falcon have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 10-5 record having five points less than leader SISU. Horsholm lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with eight games lost. Falcon are looking forward to face league's leader SISU in Copenhagen in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Horsholm will play on the road against the league's second-placed Lemvig and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Undefeated leader SISU delivered the fifteenth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 7th ranked Aabyhoj (3-12) 87-67 in Copenhagen. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Marie Malone (191-89, college: Hofstra) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 7 rebounds. Camilla Blands contributed with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. SISU's coach Hrannar Holm allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American center Kelly Meredith (182, college: Assumption) replied with 21 points and 6 rebounds for Aabyhoj. Undefeated SISU (15-0) have an impressive 15-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 15 victories in a row. Aabyhoj lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 12 games lost. SISU will play against Falcon (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Aabyhoj will play against Horsens (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

The game in Vaerlose was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Lemvig (14-1) played at the court of 5th ranked Vaerlose (7-9). Lemvig defeated Vaerlose 75-60. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Vaerlose. The winners were led by Ivana Udovalieva who scored that evening 22 points and 4 assists. Lemvig have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 14-1 record behind leader SISU. Vaerlose at the other side keeps the fifth place with nine games lost. Lemvig's next round opponent will be Horsholm (#4) at home. Vaerlose will play against Amager in Kastrup and it may be a tough game between close rivals.


SISU - Aabyhoj 87-67

Undefeated leader SISU delivered the fifteenth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 7th ranked Aabyhoj (3-12) 87-67 in Copenhagen. The game was mostly controlled by SISU. Aabyhoj was better in second period 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Aabyhoj's 48. SISU forced 23 Aabyhoj turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Marie Malone (191-89, college: Hofstra) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Camilla Blands (180-85, college: Alabama) contributed with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four SISU players scored in double figures. SISU's coach Hrannar Holm allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Amager - Horsens 67-62

Bottom-ranked Horsens (0-16) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 67-62 loss to sixth ranked Amager (5-11) in Kastrup on Saturday evening. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 67-62. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Lotte Tobiasen (183-91) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 5 rebounds (made all of her seven free throws) and swingman Catharina Jensen (183-89) who added 13 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Sarah Bersang (168-95) responded with 21 points and 5 rebounds and guard Rebecca Houmoller (175-92) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Amager maintains sixth position with 5-11 record. Horsens at the other side still closes the standings. Amager will meet at home higher ranked Vaerlose (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Horsens will play against Aabyhoj and hope to get finally their first victory.

Vaerlose - Lemvig 60-75

The game in Vaerlose was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Lemvig (14-1) played at the court of 5th ranked Vaerlose (7-9). Lemvig defeated Vaerlose 75-60. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Vaerlose. The game without a history. Lemvig led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 22 Vaerlose turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Lemvig especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 60.0 percentage. The winners were led by FYR Macedonian point guard Ivana Udovalieva (172-84) who scored that evening 22 points and 4 assists and forward Mallory Moore supported her with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Even 12 points and 6 rebounds by center Rikke Fabricius (183-92) did not help to save the game for Vaerlose. Naturalized Saudi Arabian guard Hanna Sheikh (180-92) added 12 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Lemvig have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 14-1 record behind leader SISU. Vaerlose at the other side keeps the fifth place with nine games lost. Lemvig's next round opponent will be Horsholm (#4) at home. Vaerlose will play against Amager in Kastrup and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

79ers (Dameligaen) agreed terms with 23-year old American forward Maryah Sydnor (185-93, college: Appalachian State). She played most recently at ViVe in Finnish SM-sarja, but left. In three games she had very impressive stats: 15.3ppg, 9.0rpg, 1.7apg and 1.0spg last season. She was also voted All-Sun Belt 1st Team in 2015 at her college time.
