There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with extra overtimes, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

Tenth-ranked Aalborg (1-18) made lots of trouble for second ranked Horsens IC (17-5) on Sunday. Horsens IC managed to secure only one-point victory 74-73. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 22-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Horsens IC forced 24 Aalborg turnovers. The best player for the winners was American guard Skyler Bowlin (190-89, college: Missouri So.) who scored 27 points and 5 steals. The former international guard Darko Jukic (198-90) chipped in 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Anthony Jones (208-89, college: Baylor) who recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds. Horsens IC maintains second position with 17-5 record having just one points less than leader Svendborg. Aalborg lost ninth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 18 lost games. Horsens IC are looking forward to face Bakken (#3) in Aarhus in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Aalborg will play at home against the league's leader Svendborg (#1) and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.

Horsens IC at the other side keeps the second place with five games lost. Horsholm will play against higher ranked Naestved (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Horsens IC will play against Bakken in Aarhus and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

The best for the losing side was Quinton Doggett with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Svendborg have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 19-2 record. Loser Naestved keeps the fifth place with ten games lost. Svendborg will meet bottom-ranked Aalborg (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Naestved will play against Horsholm (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Aarhus BC (#9) forced the game against Horsholm (#7) into an overtime, but lost by three points 78-81. The game took place in Aarhus. But the guests from Horsholm were better at the end. The winners were led by Attila Kovacs who scored that evening 19 points and 7 rebounds. Horsholm maintains seventh position with 7-13 record. Aarhus BC lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 16 games lost. Horsholm's next round opponent will be higher ranked Naestved (#5) at home and it may be quite challenging game. Aarhus BC will play against SISU (#4) in Copenhagen.
The game in Randers was also quite interesting. 4th ranked SISU (12-9) played at the court of sixth ranked Randers (10-11). Randers managed to secure a 7-point victory 95-88 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of SISU. The best player for the winners was Bonell Colas who had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 17 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Newly promoted Randers maintains sixth position with 10-11 record. Loser SISU keeps the fourth place with nine games lost. Randers will face Vaerlose (#8) on the road in the next round. SISU will play against Aarhus BC (#9).

In the last two games of round 24 Vaerlose was crushed by Bakken in Aarhus 107-65. Randers smashed Aalborg at home 99-78.


Horsens IC - Aalborg 74-73

There was no surprise in Aarhus where 8th ranked Vaerlose (6-15) was crushed by third ranked Bakken (16-5) 107-65 on Sunday. Defending champion maintains third position with 16-5 record having just three points less than leader Svendborg. Loser Vaerlose keeps the eighth place with 15 games lost. Bakken will face league's second-placed Horsens IC in Horsens in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Vaerlose will play at home against Randers (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Aarhus BC - Horsholm 78-81 OT

Aarhus BC (#9) forced the game against Horsholm (#7) into an overtime, but lost by three points 78-81. The game took place in Aarhus. But the guests from Horsholm were better at the end. Aarhus BC was ahead by 6 points after three quarters before a 22-16 charge of Horsholm, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 9-6.
