Former international guard Adama Darboe (190-G-86) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked Svendborg, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 26. The 26-year old player recorded a triple-double of 24 points addeding also 10 rebounds and 10 assists, while his team crushed Aarhus BC (#9, 5-18) with 19-point margin 86-67. It allowed Svendborg to consolidate first place in the Danish Ligaen. Svendborg has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 21-2. In the team's last game Darboe had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Svendborg, through which he has constantly improved. Adama Darboe has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 19.2ppg), assists (3rd best: 6.0apg) and averages impressive 2.2spg,52.6% FGP and 42.1% from behind 3-point line.
The second best player in last round's games was 23-year old American Justin Baker (203-F-89) of Vaerlose. Baker had a very good evening with a double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he lead Vaerlose to another comfortable win 88-73 over slightly lower-ranked Aalborg (#10, 1-20) being unquestionably team leader. Vaerlose's 8th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 8-15 record. Baker is a newcomer at Vaerlose, but is already one of team's top players. Former Utah Valley University star Baker is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.
Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Bonell Colas (205-F-82) of Randers (#6). Colas scored 22 points and grabbed twelve rebounds (!!!). Despite Colas' great performance Randers lost 77-80 to slightly higher-ranked Naestved (#5, 12-11). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Randers ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 13 games, recording just ten victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Colas could help Randers to bring them higher in the standings. Colas has a great season in Denmark. After 18 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.6ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 14.7rpg (#1 in league). He also has 2.3bpg and FGP: 65.8%.
Other top performing players last week: 4. Donald Rutherford (199-F/C-87) of Svendborg - 20 points and 13 rebounds 5. Joe Benjamin (200-F/C-83) of Naestved - 13 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists 6. Caleb Walker (193-G-89) of Naestved - 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists 7. Zack Moritz (210-C-88) of SISU - 16 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists 8. Randy Dezouvre (195-F/G-87) of Aarhus BC - 25 points and 8 rebounds 9. Charles Funches (203-F-88) of Aarhus BC - 26 points and 9 rebounds 10. Anthony Jones (208-F-89) of Aalborg - 11 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists
The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc. The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Moss was voted Eurobasket.com All-Danish Ligaen 1st Team back in 2007.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to Moss' pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in nine different countries. Moss has played previously professionally in Argentina (Villa Angela), France (Le Portel), Germany (Science City Jena), Israel, Spain (Palencia Baloncesto), Switzerland, Uruguay (Aguada and Guruyu Waston) and Japan (Bambitious Nara). He is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at BMS Skovlunde. Moss attended University of Florida until 2006 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season as a professional player. The scouts decsribe him following way:
A relentless rebounder and shot blocker with good range for a big man. Runs the floor well and can play with his back to the basket. Will provide depth in the front court positions. Has a competitive spirit.
