The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute susprises and upsets.

An interesting game for Lemvig (15-2) which hosted in Lemvig one of their biggest challengers Falcon (10-7). Second ranked Lemvig had an easy win 64-42. The game without a history. Lemvig led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Falcon to just 6 points in third quarter. Lemvig forced 20 Falcon turnovers. It was a good game for forward Helle Kristiansen (179-92) who led her team to a victory with 20 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Emily Hatch (185-89, college: San Diego) contributed with 8 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Lemvig's coach Thomas Johansen felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Trenice Fuller (193-87, college: Hofstra) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 20 rebounds for Falcon. Lemvig maintains second position with 15-2 record having just two points less than leader SISU. Falcon at the other side keeps the third place with seven games lost. Lemvig are looking forward to face league's leader SISU in Copenhagen in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Falcon will play at home against Aabyhoj and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
Dameligaen top team - SISU (17-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat fifth ranked Vaerlose (8-10) 85-71. Kiki Lund (177-83, college: Dayton) scored 17 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Ida Pretzmann chipped in 19 points during the contest. SISU's coach Hrannar Holm allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was American guard Alexandra Chili (180, college: Muhlenberg) with 34 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. Undefeated SISU have an impressive 17-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 17-0 record. Vaerlose at the other side keeps the fifth place with ten games lost. SISU will play against league's second-placed Lemvig at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Vaerlose will play against Horsens and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Horsholm - Horsens 96-64

Bottom-ranked Horsens is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their 18th consecutive match to fourth ranked Horsholm (10-8) 96-64 on Wednesday evening. The game without a history. Horsholm led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Horsens' 24. They outrebounded Horsens 38-27 including 24 on the defensive glass. Guard Anne Kristensen (172-87) notched 16 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and forward Line Piechnik (171-90) supported her with 15 points. Four Horsholm players scored in double figures. Even 7 points and 10 rebounds by forward Emily White (186-92) did not help to save the game for Horsens. Guard Julie Ravn (174-93) added 16 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Horsholm maintains fourth position with 10-8 record. Vaerlose was better in second period 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. SISU forced 22 Vaerlose turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Vaerlose's players. SISU brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Kiki Lund (177-83, college: Dayton) scored 17 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Ida Pretzmann (174-90, college: TCU) chipped in 19 points during the contest. 79ers (Dameligaen) agreed terms with 23-year old American forward Maryah Sydnor (185-93, college: Appalachian State). She played most recently at ViVe in Finnish SM-sarja, but left. In three games she had very impressive stats: 15.3ppg, 9.0rpg, 1.7apg and 1.0spg last season. She was also voted All-Sun Belt 1st Team in 2015 at her college time.
