The Regular Season in Ligaen is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 3 rounds.

Fifth-ranked Naestved (12-12) made lots of trouble for third ranked Horsens IC (18-6) on Wednesday. The visitors from Horsens managed to secure only one-point victory 76-75. However their fans expected easier game. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Naestved won third quarter 23-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Darko Jukic (198-90) who scored 32 points and 6 rebounds. American center Keane Thomann (211-89, college: Missouri So.) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Joe Benjamin (200-83, college: W.Virginia St.) who recorded 19 points and 8 rebounds. Naestved's coach Geoff Kotila rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Horsens IC maintains third place with 18-6 record having just two points less than leader Svendborg. Naestved at the other side keeps the fifth position with 12 games lost. Horsens IC are looking forward to face league's leader Svendborg at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Naestved will play against Vaerlose (#8) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
The game in Vaerlose was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked SISU (14-10) played at the court of 8th ranked Vaerlose (8-16). SISU defeated Vaerlose 70-59. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Vaerlose. SISU maintains fourth place with 14-10 record. Vaerlose at the other side keeps the eighth position with 16 games lost. SISU will play against bottom-ranked Aalborg (#10) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Vaerlose will play against Naestved and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Randers. Local Randers (11-13) beat 7th ranked Horsholm (8-14) 85-68 on Wednesday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Horsholm. Worth to mention a quality performance of Bonell Colas who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 22 rebounds.
