Experienced American Bonell Colas (205-F-82) put on an amazing game in the last round for Randers and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 27. The 30-year old forward had a double-double of 36 points and twenty two rebounds, while his team crushed Horsholm (#7, 8-14) with 17-point margin 85-68. Randers maintains the 6th position in Danish Ligaen. Randers is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 11-13 record. Colas turned to be Randers' top player in his first season with the team. University of Florida graduate has very impressive stats this year. Colas is league's best scorer averaging so far 25.2ppg and leads league in rebounds with 15.1rpg. Colas is in league's top in and averages solid 2.2bpg and 65.9% FGP.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 25-year old American swingman Randy Dezouvre (195-F/G-87) of Aarhus BC. Dezouvre impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 32 points and 14 rebounds. It was enough for Aarhus BC to edge slightly lower-ranked Aalborg (#10, 1-21) by 4 points 81-77. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Aarhus BC keeps 9th position. 18 lost games are too many comparing to just six victories Aarhus BC managed to get this year. Dezouvre is a newcomer at Aarhus BC and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.
The third best performed player last round was American Anthony Jones (208-F-89) of Aalborg (#10). Jones scored 25 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Jones' great performance Aalborg lost 77-81 to slightly higher-ranked Aarhus BC (#9, 6-18). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Aalborg can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 1-21 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Too bad for Jones he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Jones has a very solid season. In 7 games in Denmark he scored 18.7ppg. He also has 9.1rpg and 1.3bpg.
Other top performing players last week: 4. Joe Benjamin (200-F/C-83) of Naestved - 19 points and 8 rebounds 5. Darko Jukic (198-G-90) of Horsens IC - 32 points and 6 rebounds 6. Luis Guzman (193-G-87) of Aalborg - 12 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists 7. Keane Thomann (211-C-89) of Horsens IC - 15 points and 8 rebounds 8. Charles Funches (203-F-88) of Aarhus BC - 21 points and 5 rebounds 9. Casper Hesseldal (198-F-85) of Horsholm - 15 points and 6 rebounds 10. Mikael Nielsen (178-PG-90) of SISU - 20 points and 5 rebounds
The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc. The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Moss was voted Eurobasket.com All-Danish Ligaen 1st Team back in 2007.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to Moss' pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in nine different countries. Moss has played previously professionally in Argentina (Villa Angela), France (Le Portel), Germany (Science City Jena), Israel, Spain (Palencia Baloncesto), Switzerland, Uruguay (Aguada and Guruyu Waston) and Japan (Bambitious Nara). He is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at BMS Skovlunde. Moss attended University of Florida until 2006 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season as a professional player. The scouts decsribe him following way:
A relentless rebounder and shot blocker with good range for a big man. Runs the floor well and can play with his back to the basket. Will provide depth in the front court positions. Has a competitive spirit.
