Bowlin
There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Ligaen.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Svendborg (21-3) on the court of third ranked Horsens IC on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Horsens IC 95-84. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Svendborg. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 49-35 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Horsens IC forced 23 Svendborg turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Skyler Bowlin (190-89, college: Missouri So.) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 8 assists and 4 steals (made all of his ten free throws !!!). The other American import center Keane Thomann (211-89, college: Missouri So.) contributed with 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Donald Rutherford (199-87, college: Catawba) replied with 33 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds for Svendborg. Horsens IC maintains third position with 19-6 record having just one points less than leader Svendborg. Svendborg at the other side still keeps top place with three games lost. Horsens IC are looking forward to face SISU (#4) in Copenhagen in the next round. Svendborg will play at home against Vaerlose and is hoping to win this game.
Important game to mention about took place in Vaerlose. Eighth ranked Vaerlose (9-16) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Naestved (12-13) 85-82 on Sunday evening. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Richard Delk (193-86, college: Troy) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Justin Baker who added 20 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Caleb Walker (193-89, college: Nebraska) responded with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Naestved's coach Geoff Kotila rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Vaerlose maintains eighth position with 9-16 record. Naestved at the other side keeps the fifth place with 13 games lost. Vaerlose will play against league's leader Svendborg on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Naestved will play against Aalborg (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game between third ranked Bakken (19-5) and 6th ranked Randers (11-14) in Aarhus on Monday ended with biggest points difference. Bakken outscored guests from Randers 110-85. The winners were led by Marvell Waithe who had that evening a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. Bakken's coach Philip Dejworek felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 30 points and 12 rebounds by Bonell Colas did not help to save the game for Randers. Bakken have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place. Newly promoted Randers keep the sixth position with 14 games lost. Bakken will meet Horsholm (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite.
