Adama Darboe
Vaerlose - Svendborg 69-97

Svendborg recorded the second straight win in the quarterfinal series versus Vaerlose. The game without a history. Svendborg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The former international guard Adama Darboe (190-86) scored 31 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Mikkel Plannthin (195-88) chipped in 12 points and 8 assists during the contest. Four Svendborg players scored in double figures. American guard Richard Delk (193-86, college: Troy) responded with 21 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Justin Baker (203-89, college: Utah Valley) scored 23 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Randers - SISU 99-84

Randers are now 2-0 up on SISU following a comfortable home win. The game was mostly controlled by Randers. SISU managed to win second period 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Randers outrebounded SISU 45-22 including a 36-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Bonell Colas (205-82, college: Florida) notched a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) to lead the effort and the former international swingman Chris Nielsen (192-85) supported him with 24 points and 6 assists. Even 23 points by American swingman Mickey Dennis (190-78, college: JMU) did not help to save the game for SISU. The former international point guard Mikael Nielsen (178-90) added 16 points and 6 assists for the guests. Four Randers and five SISU players scored in double figures.

Naestved - Horsens IC 75-77

Horsens IC escaped with a narrow road win over Naestved to grab 2-0 record in the series. The guests trailed by 14 points after three quarters before their 27-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Horsens IC forced 21 Naestved turnovers. American center Keane Thomann (211-89, college: Missouri So.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. The former international guard Darko Jukic (198-90) contributed with 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American guard Caleb Walker (193-89, college: Nebraska) replied with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds and Canadian-British point guard Alex Murphy (185-88) added 20 points and 6 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) in the effort for Naestved.

Defending champion Bakken Bears (Ligaen) strengthened their roster with addition of 27-year old Danish international guard Darko Jukic (199-94kg-90, agency: PEPI SPORT). Horsholm 79ers (Ligaen) inked American forward Matt Bonds (196-103kg, agency: Duran International). Bonds just graduated from St.Michael's (NCAA2). He has played there for the last four years. Blu Basket Gruppo Remer Treviglio (Serie A2) landed 31-year old Danish international guard Alan Voskuil (191-92kg-86, college: Texas Tech) from Berme Viola Basket Reggio Calabria.
