The teams have now bigger motivation at this stage of Regular Season. Every game can be crucial and decide about teams' position at the end of Regular Season.

The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Horsens IC (19-4) at the home court on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Svendborg (12-12) 91-77. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 91-77. American point guard Stefan Bonneau (177-87, college: LIU Post) stepped up and scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and Cameroonian forward Harding NaNa (203-81, college: Delaware) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side Bosnian swingman Vedran Borovcanin (200-85) responded with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Svendborg moved-up to fourth place. Defending champion Horsens IC still keeps top position with four games lost. Svendborg are looking forward to face Randers (#7) on the road in the next round. Horsens IC will play against the league's second-placed Bakken (#2) in Aarhus and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Horsholm have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Naestved lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 12 games lost. Horsholm will play against bottom-ranked Stevnsgade (#8) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Naestved will play against SISU in Copenhagen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of SISU. Devaughn Akoon-Purcell fired 31 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Anders Haas produced 19 points for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bakken have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 18-3 record behind leader Horsens IC. SISU at the other side keeps the sixth position with 14 games lost. Bakken will meet at home league's leader Horsens IC in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. SISU will play against Naestved (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Horsholm - Naestved 71-68

Important game to mention about took place in Horsholm. Fourth ranked Horsholm (12-11) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Naestved (11-12) 71-68 on Wednesday evening. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Naestved won third quarter 15-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American-Haitian Marvin Dominique (201-91, college: St.Peter's, agency: Duran International) nailed 29 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and American Jyles Smith (209-92, college: Savannah St.) accounted for 12 points and 11 rebounds. American power forward Phillip Nolan (210-93, college: Connecticut, agency: Two Points) came up with 14 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and American-Nigerian forward Patrick Onwenu (198-93, college: Alcorn St.) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Naestved in the defeat. Second ranked Bakken (18-3) crushed at home 6th ranked SISU (10-14) by 20 points 102-82, which is the biggest margin this round on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of SISU. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 54-30 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Bakken forced 19 SISU turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. Bakken looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American-Trinidad and Tobago guard Devaughn Akoon-Purcell (196-93, college: Illinois St.) fired 31 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Newly promoted APOP Paphou (Division A) landed 25-year old American power forward Will Artino (211-104kg-92, college: Creighton, agency: KMG Sports Management). He played most recently at Horsens IC in Danish Ligaen. In 40 games he averaged 12.4ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.2apg last season. Artino helped them to make it to both league and Cup finals after they ended regular season as second best team. After 4 rounds played we can already see who rules in the 1st Division and who belongs to weaker ones. The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of EBAA (2-1) in Aarhus on Saturday night. Hosts were rolled over by Vaerlose (3-0) 68-42.
