There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Ligaen.

The game between Top Four teams took place in Horsens. First ranked host Horsens IC (22-5) defeated 3rd ranked Horsholm (14-12) 96-78. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Horsholm. The game was mostly controlled by Horsens IC. Horsholm managed to win second period 24-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Horsens IC shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Horsholm's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Myles Mack (175-93, college: Rutgers) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 9 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and the other American import power forward Will Artino (211-92, college: Creighton) who added 17 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American Jyles Smith (209-92, college: Savannah St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains first position with 22-5 record. Horsholm at the other side keeps the third place with 12 games lost. Horsens IC will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Horsholm will play at home against Stevnsgade and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
The game in Randers was also worth to mention about. 6th ranked SISU (12-15) played at the court of seventh ranked Randers (10-17). Randers defeated SISU 89-79. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of SISU. The winners were led by the former international swingman Chris Nielsen (193-85) who scored that evening 24 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists (made all of his eight free throws) and Deuce Bello supported him with 19 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws). Randers' coach Morten Hansen allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds by American forward Tanner McGrew (203-93, college: W.Virg.Wesl., agency: Duran International) did not help to save the game for SISU. Randers maintains seventh position with 10-17 record. SISU at the other side keeps the sixth place with 15 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
The game in Stevnsgade was also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Naestved (12-14) played at the court of 8th ranked Stevnsgade (1-25). Naestved did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 89-71 on Saturday. Earnest Ross fired 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Filip Rajovic produced 18 points and 7 assists for lost side. Stevnsgade's coach Ricky Kristensen rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Naestved moved-up to fifth place. Stevnsgade lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 25 lost games. Naestved will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Stevnsgade will play against Svendborg (#4) and hope to win that game.
Second ranked Bakken (21-4) crushed at home 8th ranked Stevnsgade (1-25) by 37 points 118-81, which is the biggest margin this round. It was a very good performance for Keane Thomann who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds. Bakken's coach Jakob Freil felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bakken have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 21-4 record behind leader Horsens IC. Stevnsgade lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 25 lost games. Bakken will have a break next round. Stevnsgade will play on the road against Svendborg (#4) and hope to win that game.
