There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in Ligaen.

The most exciting game of round 29 in the Ligaen took place in Svendborg. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 4th placed Svendborg (13-15) to eighth ranked Stevnsgade (2-26) 59-58 on Monday evening. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 59-58. The best player for the winners was American power forward Davie Champagnie (206-90, college: Martin Methodist, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 20 rebounds. Spanish guard Jonel Visaq (195-88) chipped in 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Cameroonian forward Harding NaNa (203-81, college: Delaware) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts. Stevnsgade maintains eighth place with 2-26 record. Svendborg lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with 15 games lost.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Aarhus. First ranked Bakken faced 4th placed Svendborg. Host Bakken (23-4) smashed guests from Svendborg (13-15) 109-74. The former international guard Adama Darboe (190-86) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points and 6 assists. Mike Gesell contributed with 14 points and 5 assists for the winners. American point guard Stefan Bonneau (177-87, college: LIU Post) answered with 27 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for Svendborg. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bakken have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 23-4 record. Svendborg lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with 15 games lost. Bakken will play against Horsholm (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Svendborg will have a break next round.

Bakken will meet Horsholm (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Naestved will play against Randers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Leader Bakken delivered the twenty third victory on Monday night. This time they beat 5th ranked Naestved (12-15) 89-82 in Aarhus. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 25-12. But Naestved won second period 25-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bakken looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American-Trinidad and Tobago guard Devaughn Akoon-Purcell (196-93, college: Illinois St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners and American guard Mike Gesell (188-93, college: Iowa) chipped in 11 points and 9 assists. American-Nigerian forward Patrick Onwenu (198-93, college: Alcorn St.) responded with 33 points (!!!) Horsholm led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Stevnsgade's 30. Horsholm forced 28 Stevnsgade turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American Jyles Smith (209-92, college: Savannah St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winning side and American-Haitian Marvin Dominique (201-91, college: St.Peter's, agency: Duran International) accounted for 18 points and 5 rebounds. Bakken Bears (Ligaen) signed 26-year old American forward Jeffrey Crockett (201-95kg-91, college: Texas Tech). He played last season at Lighthouse Conad Trapani in Italian Serie A2.
