We bring you last week's top performances from Danes who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Shavon Shields
Shavon Shields
#1. This week's number one is former international guard Shavon Shields (201-94, college: Nebraska, currently plays in Germany). He was the major contributor in a Deutsche Bank Skyliners' victory against the 16th-ranked Braunschweig (4-19) crushing them 92-56 in the German BBL in Sunday night's game. Shields recorded 16 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in 27 minutes on the court; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt (10-14) is placed tenth in the BBL. Shields has relatively good stats this year: 14.1ppg, 5.3rpg, 1.9apg, 2FGP: 60.1%(92-153), 3FGP: 37.2% and FT: 76.8% in 23 games he played so far. He played for the Danish senior national team two years ago.

Chanan Colman
Chanan Colman
#2. Second place goes to an experienced former international guard Chanan Colman (191-84, college: Chipola JC, currently plays in Israel). Colman could not help Hapoel Eilat (12-10) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his good performance Hapoel Eilat was defeated 81-72 on the road by the lower-ranked Maccabi Haifa (#6). Colman was the second best scorer with 14 points. He also added 5 rebounds and 3 assists. The Regular Season already ended. It's Colman's first season with the team. This year Colman averages: 7.9ppg, 2.8rpg, 3.7apg, 2FGP: 48.6%, 3FGP: 36.8% and FT: 79.3%. He has a dual citizenship: Danish and Israeli. Former Roskilde BC starter played for the Danish national team in 2008.

Darko Jukic
Darko Jukic
#3. The Danish player who performed third best last week abroad was an international guard Darko Jukic (199-90, currently plays in Slovenia). Jukic led Krka to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Sencur Gorenjska gradbena druzba Kranj (7-15) crushing them 86-62 in the Slovenian Liga Nova KBM on Tuesday night. He recorded 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 21 minutes. Krka Novo Mesto (18-5) is placed second in the Liga Nova KBM. The Regular Season already ended. This year Jukic's overall stats are: 8.6ppg, 3.1rpg, 1.6apg, 2FGP: 64.3%(18-28) and FT: 61.5% in nine games. He is also a member of the Danish senior national team.

Lasse Elbaek
#4. Center Lasse Elbaek (208-94, currently plays in Sweden) led Malbas to a victory against one of league's weakest teams Umea (5-25) 93-84 in the Swedish Basketligan last Tuesday. Elbaek scored 22 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 27 minutes. Malbas Oresund Malmo (1-10) is placed second from the bottom (#8) in the Basketligan. It was Malbas' third consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Elbaek has relatively solid stats: 10.5ppg, 6.6rpg and 1.1apg in 28 games. He is also Danish national team player.

Mikkel Plannthin
Mikkel Plannthin

It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Alan Voskuil

Guard Alan Voskuil (191-86, college: Texas Tech, currently plays in Italy) was not able to help Viola RC (0-0) in their game against FCM Ferentino (10-14) in the Italian Serie A2 (second division), despite his very good performance in Sunday night's game. Voskuil was the second best scorer with 14 points. He also added 5 rebounds in 30 minutes. But the tenth-placed Viola RC lost 76-81 in Ferentino to the lower-ranked (#13) FCM Ferentino in the West group. This year Voskuil's total stats are: 9.2ppg, 3.5rpg, 2.0apg and 1.2spg in six games. Despite his very good performance last Sunday Bergstedt was the second best scorer with 13 points. He also added 7 rebounds. Bergstedt's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. Bergstedt has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 15.3ppg, 9.5rpg and 1.5apg. Bergstedt is also Danish national team player.

Daniel Mortensen
Daniel Mortensen
#8. He scored 10 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 33 minutes. But the Barry University lost 82-96 in Huntsville to the University of Alabama in. There are only two games left until the end of the NCAA2 National Tournament Round 2. So now every game will be important. Mortensen has reliable stats this year: 11.3ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.6apg in 25 games. He used to play for the Danish national team back in 2015.

Sebastian Petersen

Haas cannot count Tuesday's game as one of the best ones. He recorded only 2 points and added 5 assists in 28 minutes. His team lost 53-59. Haas has averaged so far 5.1ppg, 2.8rpg and 3.8apg in 34 games. He used to play for the Danish U18 national team back in 2015.
