We bring you last week's top performances from Danes who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Shavon Shields
Shavon Shields
#1. This week's number one is former international guard Shavon Shields (201-94, college: Nebraska, currently plays in Germany). He was the major contributor in a Deutsche Bank Skyliners' victory against the 16th-ranked Braunschweig (4-19) crushing them 92-56 in the German BBL in Sunday night's game. Shields recorded 16 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in 27 minutes on the court; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt (10-14) is placed tenth in the BBL. Shields has relatively good stats this year: 14.1ppg, 5.3rpg, 1.9apg, 2FGP: 60.1%(92-153), 3FGP: 37.2% and FT: 76.8% in 23 games he played so far. He played for the Danish senior national team two years ago.

Chanan Colman
Chanan Colman
#2. Second place goes to an experienced former international guard Chanan Colman (191-84, college: Chipola JC, currently plays in Israel). Colman could not help Hapoel Eilat (12-10) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his good performance Hapoel Eilat was defeated 81-72 on the road by the lower-ranked Maccabi Haifa (#6). Colman was the second best scorer with 14 points. He also added 5 rebounds and 3 assists. The Regular Season already ended. It's Colman's first season with the team. This year Colman averages: 7.9ppg, 2.8rpg, 3.7apg, 2FGP: 48.6%, 3FGP: 36.8% and FT: 79.3%. He has a dual citizenship: Danish and Israeli. Former Roskilde BC starter played for the Danish national team in 2008.

Darko Jukic

He recorded 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 21 minutes. Krka Novo Mesto (18-5) is placed second in the Liga Nova KBM. The Regular Season already ended. This year Jukic's overall stats are: 8.6ppg, 3.1rpg, 1.6apg, 2FGP: 64.3%(18-28) and FT: 61.5% in nine games. He is also a member of the Danish senior national team.

Despite his very good performance last Sunday Bergstedt was the second best scorer with 13 points. He also added 7 rebounds. Bergstedt's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. Bergstedt has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 15.3ppg, 9.5rpg and 1.5apg. Bergstedt is also Danish national team player.
