Round 6: BA Tallinn Kalev lose to BG Lulea - Oct 4, 2017

The most important game in the last round took place in Lulea between Estonian BA Tallinn Kalev and twelfth ranked Swedish BG Lulea (3-2) on Sunday night. BA Tallinn Kalev was crushed by BG Lulea on the road 33-54. BG Lulea held BA Tallinn Kalev to an opponent 24.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.6 percent accuracy of the winners. It was a good game for point guard David Hook (185-99) who led his team to a victory with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Simon Finden (190-0) contributed with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. BG Lulea's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Erki Kuhi (199-0) replied with 6 points and 10 rebounds for BA Tallinn Kalev. BG Lulea have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 6 other teams.
An interesting game for SMS PZKosz (5-0) which played road game in Gdynia against 4th ranked Asseco U20 (3-2). Top-ranked SMS PZKosz had an easy win 62-42. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Asseco U20. Power forward Adrian Bogucki (213-99) had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Kacper Makowski chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. SMS PZKosz's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Maciej Leszczynski (193-99) with 10 points and 8 rebounds. SMS PZKosz have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 5-0 record. Asseco U20 at the other side keeps the fourth place with two games lost. They share the position with 6 other teams.

Even 18 points (perfect from the field making all six shots) by David Jolinder did not help to save the game for Alvik. Alvik's coach rotated twelve players saving starting five for next games. Olimp 97 moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with BA Tallinn Kalev and Cracovia. Loser Alvik still closes the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Helsinki Rock and TBV Start.

In the last game of round 6 Cracovia was beaten by Bball Academy on the road 62-52.

Asseco U20 - SMS PZKosz 42-62

An interesting game for SMS PZKosz (5-0) which played road game in Gdynia against 4th ranked Asseco U20 (3-2). Top-ranked SMS PZKosz had an easy win 62-42. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Asseco U20. SMS PZKosz had a 29-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. Olimp 97 outrebounded Alvik 43-26 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds.
