Alexela KML Round 5 of Finals. Kalev/Cramo earn the title - May 27, 2016

Kalev/Cramo - TU/Rock 81-54

Kalev/Cramo avenged last season's loss in the Final and overcame TU/Rock for the Alexela KML title. The decisive victory came with ease in Game 5. The game was mostly controlled by Kalev/Cramo. TU/Rock managed to win fourth quarter 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded TU/Rock 44-25 including 29 on the defensive glass. 28 personal fouls committed by TU/Rock helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Morris Curry (181-87, college: Providence) stepped up and scored 19 points and 5 rebounds (perfect behind the arc making all five shots) for the winners and Latvian Rolands Freimanis (208-88, agency: Alti Sport) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Kalev/Cramo players scored in double figures. Canadian-Lithuanian point guard Evaldas Zabas (188-88) responded with 9 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Kristen Meister (193-93) scored 9 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
