Kristjan Kangur
Kristjan Kangur
#1. This week's number one is an international forward Kristjan Kangur (201-82). He led Cimberio Varese to an overtime victory against the 13th-ranked Angelico Biella (11-16) 89-82 in the Italian SerieA in Monday night's game. Kangur had a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 10 rebounds in 37 minutes on the court. Cimberio Varese (14-12) is placed eighth in the SerieA. Kangur has relatively good stats this year: 11.8ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.8apg, 1.6spg, 2FGP: 54.2%, 3FGP: 41.5% and FT: 80.9% in the 26 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Estonian senior national team.

Renato Lindmets
Renato Lindmets
#2. Second place goes to an international forward Renato Lindmets (198-84, college: Westfield St.). Lindmets led Stjarnan to an overtime victory over the league leader Keflavik (21-7) 94-87 in the Icelandic Express League last Thursday. He was MVP of the game. Lindmets scored 25 points, had 9 rebounds and made 4 blocks. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Stjarnan (14-8) is placed fourth in the Express League. Lindmets is currently fourth on the list of best blockers. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Lindmets averages: 17.0ppg, 8.4rpg, 2.4apg, 1.2bpg, 2FGP: 55.6%(94-169), 3FGP: 28.6% and FT: 69.2%. He is a naturalized American. Despite Lindmets played previously for the USA national team, he is currently a member of the Estonian senior national team. Lindmets used to play for BC Rakvere Tarvas in Estonian league.

Rait Keerles
Rait Keerles
#3. The Estonian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international forward Rait Keerles (201-80), who plays in the German ProA (second division). He could not help Gloria Giants (15-13) in their last game. Despite Keerles' very good performance Gloria Giants lost 68-77 on the road to the lower-ranked (#11) BV Chemnitz 99. He was the top scorer with 18 points. Keerles also added 5 rebounds in 31 minutes. This year Keerles has relatively solid stats: 12.3ppg, 5.4rpg, 1.3apg, 2FGP: 53.4%, 3FGP: 24.2% and FT: 79.5% in the 30 games. BBC Bayreuth was crushed 98-74 in Bremerhaven by the higher-ranked (#11) Eisbaeren. It was BBC Bayreuth's fourth consecutive loss in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Veideman's overall stats are: 6.6ppg, 2.1rpg, 1.7apg and 1.2spg in the 10 games.
