Tartu Ulikool - Rapla 95-56

Tartu Ulikool eased past Rapla and reached KML Finals. The game without a history. Tartu Ulikool led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Tartu Ulikool had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by Rapla helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was international forward Tanel Kurbas (197-88) who scored 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). International power forward Rain Raadik (208-89) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. Five Tartu Ulikool players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Sven Kaldre (197-91) who recorded 12 points and the former international forward Andre Parn (200-77) added 11 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Kalev/Cramo - Tarvas 91-69

Kalev/Cramo swept the semifinal series versus Tarvas. It looked good early as BC Rakvere took an 4-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Kalev/Cramo had a 16-10 second period charge getting the lead and BC Rakvere was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 69-91. It was a good game for Belarusian power forward Pavel Ulyanko (204-79) who led his team to a victory with 20 points. The former international guard Tanel Sokk (184-85) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Latvian point guard Rinalds Sirsnins (186-85, agency: Promotex) answered with 15 points and 6 assists and Latvian center Kaspars Cipruss (210-82, agency: Interperformances) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for BC Rakvere. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
Top scorers:
Kalev/Cramo: P.Ulyanko 20+3reb+1ast, T.Sokk 16+2reb+3ast, A.Nelson 14+3ast, A.Skele 13+4reb+3ast, J.Toome 10+5reb+1ast, B.Fall 8+10reb
