Finland registered victory in the first test game against Estonian in Vantaa. Taru Tuukkanen (190-C-77, agency: Regeneracom Sports, college: Xavier) came up with 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead the hosts.
Finland built a 17:11 lead after ten minutes of action. Estonia narrowed the gap in the second quarter. The visitors got within 2 points at the interval 35:37. Finland went on a massive rally in the third quarter. They held Estonia to 8 points in the quarter to ensure a 12-point cushion before the final frame. Estonia however responded equally finishing the game on an 18:8 run and cutting the deficit to minimum. Laura Wilson (184-SG-84, agency: LBM Management, college: Binghamton) knocked down 12 points, while Heta Korpivaara (186-G/F-84, agency: Regeneracom Sports, college: Seton Hall) had 10 points for the winners. Merike Anderson (180-F/G-81, agency: LBM Management) replied with 21 points for Estonia. Viive-Kai Viive Rebane (182-F-89) produced 11 points in the loss.

NKL Round 10: Payless hand first defeat to Narva - 20 days ago
There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with defeat of the leader, derby games and favorites losing the games. Undefeated Narva (3-1) recorded its first loss on the court of second ranked Payless on Thursday night. Visitors were edged by Payless 61-60. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Newly promoted Payless maintains second position with 3-3 record having just one point less than leader Parnu.
