SWITZERLAND - ESTONIA 68-63

Switzerland registered its second win in 2013 EuroBasket Qualifications. They outplayed Estonia last night 68-63 improving to 2-3 record in Group B. Estonia dropped to poor 0-5. Giroud and Karen Twehues (182-G-83, college: Cincinnati) then responded to hold off the Estonians and seal the win. Quarters: 29-18, 12-16, 15-18, 12-11. Karen Twehues drained 25 points in victory and Marielle Giroud (180-F-87) added 23 points, plus 10 rebounds. Sarah Kershaw (180-SF-85) contributed with 12 pts to this victory.
