U16 ROMANIA - U16 ESTONIA 68-70

Estonia will take 13th place at U16 EuroBasket in Tallinn. The host of this event grabbed 70-68 win against Romania on Friday for perfect 3-0 record in Group G. At the other side, Romania dropped to 1-2. Mihaela Maxim (167-PG-96) scored a triple for Romania coming to 69-68 with 3 seconds to go and they immediately sent Dikalenko to the free throw line. She missed first, but made the second FT and Romania didn't have enough time to make a shot. Quarters: 20-12, 13-15, 10-22, 25-21. Kadri-Ann Lass (177-F-96) shined for the winners with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Marie Roosalu (177-F-96) had 15 points and 6 rebs, and Sofia Anissimova (179-F-96) had 13 pts and 10 boards. In defeat, Kincso Kelemen (166-PG-96) shined with 19 points and 5 rebs. Andreea Beldian (165-PG-96) and Maxim scored 11 pts each. Estonia will take a rest today. Romania will meet Norway. Sunday is the last day of the competition in Tallinn.

NKL Round 10: Payless hand first defeat to Narva - 20 days ago
There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with defeat of the leader, derby games and favorites losing the games. Undefeated Narva (3-1) recorded its first loss on the court of second ranked Payless on Thursday night. Visitors were edged by Payless 61-60. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Newly promoted Payless maintains second position with 3-3 record having just one point less than leader Parnu.
