Eclex Tallinn, Audentes, Tartu, Rapla KK and Tallina U. start the campaign together with Latvian teams this year. Five Estonian teams joined 7 squads from Latvia for a fantastic 2012/2013 season.
Audentes SG/N. lost to RTU-Merks 61:67. Lina Lisnere (189-F/C-86, college: Syracuse) scored 22 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Daina Lazdeniece (187-C-89) chipped in 18 points and 5 steals during the contest. Trine Kasemagi responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks and Greeta Uprus scored 12 points and 8 rebounds.
Eclex Tallinn won over LU 91:56. Annika Koster (185-F/C-92) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds. Laina Mesila-Kaarmann contributed with 15 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Anete Vorma (165-G-89) replied with 21 points and center Zane Neilande (183-C-93) added 11 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Latvijas Universitate.
Tartu U. lost to Liepajas 51:60. Joncelyn Peterkin (187-C-89, college: Point Park) notched a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks to lead the effort and Kristina Cirsa (177-G-87) supported her with 16 points. Even 14 points by Estonian point guard Janeli Lilleallik did not help to save the game for Tartu U.
TTT Riga won over Tallina U. 109:42. Forward Dita Rozenberga notched a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and international swingman Ieva Krastina (174-G/F-90, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 24 points and 4 assists.
TTT Juniores overcame Rapla KK 72:65. Renate Reine notched 19 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and Paula Langina supported her with 13 points and 5 rebounds.

NKL Round 8: Audentese SK lose to OSK - 7 days ago
There was no lack of excitement in the last round games. The round ended with defeat of the leader, derby games and favorites losing the games. The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Audentese SK (1-1) in Tallinn on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by OSK (1-0) 59-40. Mailis Pokk selected the top Estonian playing abroad in last week's games - 18 days ago
Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Estonians who are currently playing abroad. This week's number one is an international forward Mailis Pokk (186-92). She could not help Gruner Stern Keltern (3-3) in their last game. Despite Pokk's good performance the second-placed Gruner Stern Keltern (3-3) was crushed 85-58 on the road by the leading Yakin Dogu BGD in the group F of Eurocup.    [read more]
