Here is the weekly review of the top performing Estonian players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international small forward Siim-Sander Vene (203-90, agency: Alti Sport, currently plays in Baltic League). He led his Lithuanian team Rudupis to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked Barons kvartals (2-3) crushing them 117-86 in the Baltic League in Saturday night's game. Vene recorded 12 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in a mere 18 minutes on the court. Rudupis Prienu (7-0) is placed first in group C. So far his team won all seven games in the Regular Season. There are only three games left until the end of the Baltic League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Vene averages: 8.6ppg, 6.9rpg, 1.4apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 54.8%, 3FGP: 16.7% and FT: 45.5% in the seven games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Estonian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international point guard Sten-Timmu Sokk (181-89, currently plays in Georgia). Sokk was the major contributor in Olimpi's victory against the ninth-ranked Batumi (0-3) crushing them 94-63 in the Georgian Superleague last Saturday. He scored 16 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 6 assists. Olimpi Tbilisi (2-0) is placed fourth in the Superleague. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Sokk is currently second on the list of best passers. He has very reliable stats this season: 13.5ppg, 3.5rpg, 6.5apg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 55.6%, 3FGP: 62.5%. Sokk has a dual citizenship: Greek and Estonian. Ex-Triobet/Dalkia player is in the roster of the Estonian senior national team.

   #3. The Estonian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international small forward Kristjan Kangur (201-82, currently plays in Euroleague). He contributed to a 3-point Montepaschi Siena's victory against the closely-ranked Chalon/Saor (1-3) 93-90 in the Euroleague on Friday night. Kangur recorded 8 points in only 13 minutes. Montepaschi Siena (1-3) is placed fifth in group B. They ended the series of three consecutive loses. It's Kangur's first season with the team. This year his overall stats are: 8.3ppg, 2.0rpg, 2FGP: 57.1%, 3FGP: 46.2%(6-13) and FT: 87.5% in the four games. Kangur is also a member of the Estonian senior national team.

   #4. Power forward Janar Talts (207-83, currently plays in Italy) managed to help Cimberio Varese to win against the ninth-ranked Juvecaserta (2-4) 73-56 in the Italian SerieA in Sunday night's game. He scored only 4 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Cimberio Varese (6-0) is placed first in the SerieA. So far his team won all six games in the Regular Season. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Talts' total stats this year are: 1.7ppg and 2.3rpg. He is also Estonian national team player.

   #5. Former international center Viljar Veski (215-86, currently plays in Spain), who plays in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division) could not help Palma (2-2) to beat Lan Mobel ISB (3-0). Veski recorded 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 20 minutes. Palma lost 86-97 on the road to the leading Lan Mobel ISB. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. This year Veski's total stats are: 8.8ppg and 3.5rpg in the four games. He used to play for the Estonian national team two years ago.

   #6. Center Reinar Hallik (208-84, currently plays in Romania) was not able to help U-Mobitelco (4-2) in their game against Gaz Metan (6-1) in the Romanian Division A. Hallik did not beat the league record on Friday evening. He scored only 3 points. U-Mobitelco was defeated 92-80 in Medias by the leading Gaz Metan. Hallik has averaged so far 5.5ppg and 2.8rpg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Estonian National Team roster.

   #7. U20 international power forward Joonas Vaino (204-92, currently plays in Finland) contributed to a Namika Lahti's victory against one of league's weakest teams Lapuan Korikobrat (2-6) 90-80 in the Finnish Korisliiga in Wednesday night's game. Vaino scored only 2 points in 5 minutes on the court. Namika Lahti (3-5) is placed eighth in the Korisliiga. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. Vaino has averaged so far 1.6ppg and 1.4rpg in the eight games. He is also Estonian U20 national team player.

Estonia - Albania 102:49 Estonia registered the first victory at the international friendly tournament in Tallinn. The hosts snapped two-game losing skid to fire past Albania. Reinar Hallik (208-F/C-84) led the effort with 34 points for the Baltic team. Estonia did not waste too much time going for 39 points in the first period. Quesos Cerrato de Palencia (LEB Gold) added to their roster 19-year old Estonian small forward Robert Valge (192-82kg-97). He has played for the last four seasons at Parnu Sadam in Estonian Alexela KML. In 33 games he recorded 10.0ppg, 1.9rpg and 1.3apg last season. Israel - Estonia 76:69 Israel banked the second victory in a row at the international friendly tournament in Tallinn. They rallied past hosting Estonia. Itay Segev (205-PF-95) and Tomer Ginat (202-PF-94) notched 13 points each for the visitors. Estonia jumped to a 24:14 lead ten minutes into the game. Israel turned the tables in the second term.
