We bring you last week's top performances from Estonians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is an international guard Mirjam Nikolai (177-86, currently plays in Latvia). She led Eclex Tallinn to a victory over the seventh-ranked Audentese SG/Noortekoondis (3-5) crushing them 98-44 in the Latvian LSBL in Tuesday night's game. Nikolai was MVP of the game. She scored 25 points and added 3 assists in 24 minutes on the court. Eclex Tallinn (8-0) is placed first in the LSBL. So far her team won all eight games in the Regular Season. The Regular Season already ended. Nikolai has relatively good stats this year: 14.1ppg, 3.8rpg, 2.3apg, 2.0spg, 2FGP: 63.5%(33-52), 3FGP: 35.0% and FT: 81.3% in the eight games she played so far. She is currently a member of the Estonian senior national team.

   #2. best in steals. She has very reliable stats this season: 13.1ppg, 8.5rpg, 2.5apg, 4.0spg, 2FGP: 58.6%(41-70) and FT: 74.2%. Koster is in the roster of the Estonian senior national team.

   #3. The Estonian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international swingman Merike Anderson (180-81, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in Bulgaria). She was the major contributor in a Dunav 8806's victory against the closely-ranked Rilski Sportist (3-2) crushing them 89-51 in the Bulgarian NBL on Saturday night. Anderson recorded 15 points, 6 assists and 3 steals in 21 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Dunav 8806 Ruse (5-1) is placed second in the NBL. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Anderson is currently eighth on the league's list of top scorers and also on the list of best passers (third place). She has individually a very good year with high stats. Anderson averages: 16.8ppg, 3.3rpg, 4.2apg, 2.5spg, 2FGP: 56.1%(32-57), 3FGP: 29.4% and FT: 78.6% in the six games. She is also a member of the Estonian senior national team.

   #4. Forward Gerly Kostla (180-80, currently plays in Latvia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Mirjam Nikolai. She played also in the last Latvian LSBL game facing Annika Koster (above) in the other team. Kostla contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Audentese SG/Noortekoondis (3-5) crushing them 98-44. She scored 12 points, made 4 passes and 3 steals. This season Kostla has relatively solid stats: 10.1ppg, 5.0rpg, 2.0apg and 2.6spg. She used to play for the Estonian national team last year.

   #5. International forward Viive Kai Rebane (182-89, college: Binghamton, currently plays in Latvia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Mirjam Nikolai. She played also in the last Latvian LSBL game facing Gerly Kostla (above) in the other team. Rebane contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Audentese SG/Noortekoondis (3-5) crushing them 98-44. She had a double-double by scoring 10 points and getting the same number of rebounds in 17 minutes. Rebane has reliable stats this year: 13.6ppg, 6.0rpg, 2.1apg and 2.0spg in the seven games. She plays currently for the Estonian national team.

Swingman Greeta Uprus (177-94, currently plays in Latvia) was the main contributor in an Audentese SG/Noortekoondis' victory against the closely-ranked Kolibri/U-16 (1-6) 60-53 in the Latvian LSBL on Saturday night. Uprus was the best player in that game. She scored 23 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Audentese SG/Noortekoondis (3-5) is placed seventh in the LSBL. The Regular Season already ended. Uprus' stats this season are: 10.4ppg, 4.4rpg, 1.8apg and 1.3spg. She is U20 international player as she played for the Estonian team one years ago.

   #7. International guard Heila Rosenfeldt (173-83, currently plays in Latvia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Mirjam Nikolai. She played also in the last Latvian LSBL game facing Viive Kai Rebane (above) in the other team. Rosenfeldt contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Audentese SG/Noortekoondis (3-5) crushing them 98-44. She scored 10 points and added 4 assists in 17 minutes. Rosenfeldt is ranked fourth on the list of the best passers in the league with 3.8apg. She also averaged so far 9.4ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.3spg in the eight games. Rosenfeldt used to play for the Estonian national team last year.

   #8. Power forward Laina Mesila-Kaarmann (186-87, currently plays in Latvia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Mirjam Nikolai. She played also in the last Latvian LSBL game facing Heila Rosenfeldt (above) in the other team. Mesila-Kaarmann contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Audentese SG/Noortekoondis (3-5) crushing them 98-44. She scored 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Mesila-Kaarmann averaged so far 14.3ppg, 4.1rpg, 1.5bpg and 1.1spg. She plays currently for the Estonian national team.

   #9. U20 international point guard Anastassia Ptitsona (168-91, currently plays in Latvia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Mirjam Nikolai. She played also in the last Latvian LSBL game facing Laina Mesila-Kaarmann (above) in the other team. Ptitsona contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Audentese SG/Noortekoondis (3-5) crushing them 98-44. She scored 7 points, made 3 passes and 4 steals in 22 minutes. It's Ptitsona's fifth season with the team. This year Ptitsona's overall stats are: 7.9ppg, 2.3rpg, 2.9apg and 1.9spg in the eight games. She used to play for the Estonian U20 national team last year.

   #10. Forward Kerli Haas (180-90, currently plays in Latvia), who plays in the Latvian LSBL could not help one of league's weakest teams Rapla KK (1-6) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Haas' very good performance Rapla KK was defeated 65-53 on the road by the higher-ranked Kolibri/U-16 (#10). She was the top scorer with 24 points. Haas also added 9 rebounds and 3 assists. The Regular Season already ended. It's Haas' first season with the team. Haas is ranked first on the list of the top scorers in the league. This season she has very high stats. Haas averages: 18.6ppg, 7.0rpg, 2.0apg and 1.3spg. She is international player as one years ago she still played for the Estonian senior national team.

   #11. U16 international forward Kadri-Ann Lass (175-96, currently plays in Latvia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Greeta Uprus. But that was another game of her team in Latvian LSBL which we would like to mention. Lass, who plays in the Latvian LSBL was not able to help Audentese SG/Noortekoondis (3-5) in their last game. Despite her very good performance Audentese SG/Noortekoondis lost 63-67 on the opponent's court to the higher-ranked (#5) Liepajas. Lass was the top scorer with 15 points. She also added 8 rebounds in 24 minutes. Lass' stats this year are: 12.5ppg, 5.5rpg and 1.4apg in the eight games. She plays currently for the Estonian U16 national team.

   #12. International forward Kerttu Jallai (180-90, currently plays in Latvia) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Audentese SG/Noortekoondis crushing them 72-50 in the Latvian LSBL on Wednesday night. Jallai was the top player that evening. She recorded 18 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and made 3 blocks. It was his first game for KK Tallinna Ulikool this season. Jallai is also in the roster of the Estonian national team.

   #13. U18 international forward Jane Svilberg (179-95, currently plays in Latvia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Greeta Uprus. She played also in the last Latvian LSBL game facing Kadri-Ann Lass (above) in the other team. Svilberg, who plays in the Latvian LSBL was not able to secure a victory for Audentese SG/Noortekoondis (3-5) in their last game. Despite her good performance Audentese SG/Noortekoondis lost 63-67 on the opponent's court to the higher-ranked (#5) Liepajas. Svilberg was the second best scorer with 13 points. She also added 8 rebounds and 3 assists in 36 minutes. This year Svilberg's total stats are: 7.5ppg, 5.0rpg, 1.5apg and 1.1spg in the eight games. She is also Estonian U18 national team player.

   #14. U20 international guard Marit Maaring (178-91, currently plays in Latvia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Mirjam Nikolai. She played also in the last Latvian LSBL game facing Anastassia Ptitsona (above) in the other team. Maaring contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Audentese SG/Noortekoondis crushing them 98-44. She scored 6 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Maaring has averaged so far 8.5ppg, 3.4rpg, 1.8apg and 2.1spg. She used to play for the Estonian U20 national team last year.

   #15. U18 international center Trine Kasemagi (190-95, currently plays in Latvia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Greeta Uprus and both played together in the last Latvian LSBL game. Kasemagi contributed to an Audentese SG/Noortekoondis' victory against the closely-ranked Kolibri/U-16 60-53. She scored 11 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 23 minutes. Kasemagi is ranked third on the list of the best blockers in the league with 1.4bpg. This year her other stats are: 8.4ppg, 8.6rpg and 1.4apg in the eight games. Kasemagi is also in the roster of the Estonian U18 national team.


The list of other players, who all have Estonian passport but never been selected to any of Estonian national teams:

   #1. Experienced Piret Hallik-Sass (175-F-67, currently plays in Latvia), who plays in the Latvian LSBL could not help Rapla KK (1-6) to beat RTU-Merks (5-3). She scored 5 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Rapla KK was crushed 86-50 on the road by the much higher-ranked RTU-Merks (#4). It was Rapla KK's third consecutive loss in a row. The Regular Season already ended. Hallik-Sass has averaged so far 2.1ppg and 3.7rpg.

   #2. Laura Marleen Reissaar (171-G-97, currently plays in Latvia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Piret Hallik-Sass. But that was another game of her team in Latvian LSBL which we would like to mention. Reissaar was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Rapla KK (1-6) in their game against Kolibri/U-16 (1-6). She recorded only 4 points and had 3 steals. Rapla KK was defeated 65-53 in Riga by the higher-ranked Kolibri/U-16 (#10). Reissaar has averaged so far 3.0ppg and 1.3rpg.

   #3. Gerda Kirpson (175-G-94, currently plays in Latvia) managed to help KK Tallinna Ulikool in a victory against the closely-ranked Audentese SG/Noortekoondis (3-5) crushing them 72-50 in the Latvian LSBL last Wednesday. She recorded only 2 points in 1 minutes on the court. KK Tallinna Ulikool (2-5) is placed ninth in the LSBL. The Regular Season already ended. This year Kirpson averages just 2.0ppg in the seven games she played so far.

In 7 EEWBL games she averaged 8.4ppg, 4.4rpg, 2.9apg and 1.1spg last season.
