4th ranked Rapla (5-4) was outscored at home by sixth ranked KK Parnu (3-6) with the biggest margin this round 73-54 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Rapla. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-54. KK Parnu dominated on the defensive end, holding Rapla to just 7 points in third quarter. 25 personal fouls committed by Rapla helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a quality performance of international center Rain Raadik (208-C-89) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 17 rebounds and Lithuanian forward Osvaldas Matulionis (200-91) who added 23 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Forward Illimar Pilk (195-88) responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Despite that victory KK Parnu went down to seventh position due to points difference. Rapla at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 8: Hito/Johvi lost to TTU on the opponent's court 62-75. Parnu unfortunately lost to TTU in a home game 55-67. TTU recorded a loss to Tarvas on the road 61-76.

TTU - Hito/Johvi 75-62

Rather expected game in Tallinn where 8th ranked Hito/Johvi (1-9) was defeated by sixth ranked TTU (5-5) 75-62 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by TTU. Hito/Johvi managed to win fourth quarter 17-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Erik Keedus (198-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Kiur Akenparg (190-88) who added 17 points and 5 assists during the contest. Five TTU players scored in double figures. Georg Tambre (194-94) responded with 11 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Edvard Trumm (192-83) scored 5 points and 12 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. TTU moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Valga. Hito/Johvi lost ninth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth position with nine games lost. They share it with Tln Kalev.

Parnu - TTU 55-67

There was a small surprise when sixth ranked TTU (5-5) defeated on the road 6th ranked KK Parnu (3-6) 67-55 on Sunday. The game without a history. TTU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Kiur Akenparg (190-88) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 5 rebounds and international forward Erik Keedus (198-90) who added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Five TTU players scored in double figures. Lithuanian forward Osvaldas Matulionis (200-91) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and Lithuanian guard Augustas Peciukevicius (192-91) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. TTU moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Valga. KK Parnu at the other side dropped to the seventh position with six games lost.

Tarvas - TTU 76-61

Not a big story in a game when 6th ranked TTU (5-5) was defeated on the road by second ranked BC Rakvere (9-4) 76-61 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by BC Rakvere. TTU managed to win fourth quarter 21-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded TTU 39-28 including 16 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized American forward Renato Lindmets (200-84, college: Westfield St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and the former international point guard Reimo Tamm (185-84) who added 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Five BC Rakvere players scored in double figures. BC Rakvere's coach Andreas Sober used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Andrew Arnold (208-86, college: Lewis-Clark St.) responded with 11 points and international forward Erik Keedus (198-90) scored 8 points and 4 assists. BC Rakvere have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 9-4 record behind leader TU/Rock. Loser TTU dropped to the fifth place with five games lost. They share the position with Valga.

Slovenian Point guard Domen Bratoz (189-PG-93) had a great game in the last round for Rapla, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 19. The 23-year old player was the main contributor (21 points, five rebounds and eight assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush TLU/Kalev (#6, 6-13) with 24-point margin 98-74. Defending champion BC Kalev/Cramo Tallinn (Alexela KML) inked experienced 35-year old Bulgarian guard Branko Mirkovic (190-85kg-82, agency: 011 Sports). He has a double citizenship as he also holds Serbian passport. Mirkovic He started the season at CSM CSU Oradea in Romanian Liga Nationala. He managed to play in three leagues this year (!!!). The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tallinn: Kalev/Cramo (#2) and TTU (#5). TTU was crushed at home by 28 points 80-108 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The game was mostly controlled by Kalev/Cramo. TTU managed to win fourth quarter 25-24.
