We bring you last week's top performances from Estonians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Kristjan Kangur
Kristjan Kangur
#1. This week's number one is an international small forward Kristjan Kangur (201-82, currently plays in Italy). He led Montepaschi Siena to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Air Avellino (3-7) crushing them 101-65 in the Italian SerieA in Monday night's game. Kangur was MVP of the game. He recorded 22 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 20 minutes on the court. Montepaschi Siena (8-2) is placed third in the SerieA. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Kangur's first year with the team. This season Kangur averages: 7.7ppg, 2.9rpg, 2FGP: 58.8%(10-17), 3FGP: 51.6%(16-31) in the 10 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Estonian senior national team.

Siim-Sander Vene
Siim-Sander Vene
#2. Second place goes to an international small forward Siim-Sander Vene (203-90, agency: Alti Sport, currently plays in Eurocup), who plays in Lithuania. Vene could not help Rudupis (2-2) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his good performance Rudupis was crushed 90-66 on the road by the leading CEZ Nymburk. Vene was the second best scorer with 13 points. He also added 5 rebounds. There are only two games left until the end of the Eurocup Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Vene's first season with the team. Vene has relatively good stats this year: 10.3ppg, 4.3rpg, 2FGP: 52.0%, 3FGP: 16.7%. He is in the roster of the Estonian senior national team.

Janar Talts
Janar Talts
#3. The Estonian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international power forward Janar Talts (207-83, currently plays in Italy). Talts was not able to help Cimberio Varese (9-1) in their game against Lottomatica Roma (6-4) in the Italian SerieA. He recorded only 4 points in 11 minutes. The league leader Cimberio Varese lost 87-91 in Roma to the lower-ranked (#6) Lottomatica. They ended the series of nine consecutive victories. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Talts' overall stats are: 2.2ppg, 2.6rpg, 2FGP: 84.6% in the 10 games. He is also a member of the Estonian senior national team.

Sten-Timmu Sokk
Sten-Timmu Sokk
#4. Point guard Sten-Timmu Sokk (181-89, currently plays in Georgia) contributed to Olimpi's victory against the closely-ranked Dinamo Tbilisi (3-3) 84-79 in a derby game in the Georgian Superleague in Saturday night's game. Sokk recorded 8 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Olimpi Tbilisi (5-1) is placed fourth in the Superleague. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Sokk belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #3. His total stats this season are: 8.8ppg, 3.5rpg, 6.8apg and 1.5spg. Sokk has a dual citizenship: Greek and Estonian. He is also Estonian national team player.

Viljar Veski
Viljar Veski
#5. Former international center Viljar Veski (215-86, currently plays in Spain) was not able to secure a victory for Palma (3-5) in their game against La Palma (2-7) in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division), despite his good performance last Saturday. Veski was the second best scorer with 12 points. He also added 5 rebounds (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line) in 22 minutes. But Palma was edged 75-74 in La Palma by the lower-ranked (#14) La Palma. This year Veski's total stats are: 7.8ppg and 3.4rpg in the eight games. He used to play for the Estonian national team two years ago.

Joonas Vaino
Joonas Vaino

Vaino has averaged so far 1.2ppg and 1.6rpg. He is U20 international player who is currently on the Estonian National Team roster.

One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has Estonian passport:

   #1.
