Finland reached the second win at the Baltic Sea Basketball Cup tournament. The Finnish team overcame the hosts Estonia 48:40 for 2-0 record. The Estonian side meanwhile fell at 1-1 record.
Finland started with 15-10 and posted 16-10 in the second frame. An interesting fast is that Estonia scored 10 points in each of four quarters. In the third period those 10 points were enough to win the frame 10-7. In the last stanza both sides posted 10 points apiece for the final result.
Elina Koskimies (180-F-96) and Ulriikka Latvala (173-SG-95) top-scored for the winners with 8 points each. Ninni Salmi (182-F-96) and Jenni Rantanen (171-G-95) delivered 6 points apiece. Trine Kasemagi (190-C-95) answered with 18 points for the home side and Jane Svilberg (179-F-95) notched 8. Kadri-Ann Lass (175-F-96) brought 6, whilst Tatjana Razguljajeva had 5.

NKL Round 10: Payless hand first defeat to Narva - 14 days ago
There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with defeat of the leader, derby games and favorites losing the games. Undefeated Narva (3-1) recorded its first loss on the court of second ranked Payless on Thursday night. Visitors were edged by Payless 61-60. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Newly promoted Payless maintains second position with 3-3 record having just one point less than leader Parnu.
