Latvia triumph at the tournament of the Baltic Sea Basketball Cup. The team won all three games including the last one over Estonia 62:24 to clinch the title. The hosts of the campaign lost all three games and finished on the bottom with 0-3 record.
Latvia dominated the whole game and won all 4 quarters of the game. They started with 14-9 lead and added a 13-5 burst in the second frame. In the second half Latvia posted a 19-6 surge in the third quarter and finished the game with 16-4 in the last stanza. Latvia made 46 Total Rebounds versus 37 from Estonia.
Digna Strautmane (188-F-98) stepped up with 11 points for the winners and Laura Grabe (176-F-98) had 9. Tatjana Savicka (173-PF-97) and Paula Strautmane (184-F-97) delivered 8 points each in a win. Eeva-Gloria Kilu (178-F-87) finished the game with 8 points in the losing case and Darja Dikalenko (163-PG-97) brought 7. Ege-Ly Viirmaa (162-PG-98) posted 4, while Glenda Tamar (169-PG-98) had 3.

NKL Round 9: Abja/S&S lose to Parnu - 2 days ago
The round was rather attractive and full of interesting results. The round ended with defeat of the leader, derby games and games ending by tiny margin. The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of Abja/S&S (0-2) in Jarvamaa on Friday night. Hosts were rolled over by Parnu (3-0) 86-26. The game without a history. There was no lack of excitement in the last round games. The round ended with defeat of the leader, derby games and favorites losing the games. The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Audentese SK (1-1) in Tallinn on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by OSK (1-0) 59-40.
