Here is the weekly review of the top performing Estonian players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international small forward Kristjan Kangur (201-82, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian SerieA. He could not help one of league's weakest teams Montepaschi Siena (11-4) to beat Banco di Sardegna Sassari (12-3). Kangur scored 8 points in 22 minutes on the court. Montepaschi Siena was crushed 96-66 on the road by the second-ranked Banco di Sardegna Sassari. This year Kangur averages: 7.7ppg, 2.7rpg, 2FGP: 59.3%(16-27), 3FGP: 45.3%(24-53) and FT: 84.6% in the 15 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Estonian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international center Reinar Hallik (208-84, currently plays in Romania). Hallik led Craiova to a victory against the 13th-ranked Timba Timosoara (4-13) 87-75 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Tuesday. He recorded 13 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. SCM CSU Craiova (12-5) is placed sixth in the Liga Nationala. Hallik's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Hallik's overall stats this season are: 6.5ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.5apg, 2FGP: 83.3%, 3FGP: 25.0%. He is in the roster of the Estonian senior national team.

   #3. The Estonian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international power forward Janar Talts (207-83, currently plays in Italy). Talts was not able to help Cimberio Varese (13-2) in their game against Umana Venezia (7-8) in the Italian SerieA. It was not his best game last Sunday. Talts scored only 2 points in 14 minutes. The league leader Cimberio Varese was edged 87-85 in Venezia by the much lower-ranked (#9) Umana. They ended the series of four consecutive victories. This year Talts' overall stats are: 3.0ppg, 3.0rpg, 2FGP: 66.7%(18-27), 3FGP: 37.5% in the 15 games. He is also a member of the Estonian senior national team.

   #4. Power forward Joonas Vaino (204-92, currently plays in Finland) was not able to secure a victory for Namika Lahti (5-17) in their game against KTP-Basket (16-6) in the Finnish Korisliiga. Vaino recorded 5 points. The bottom-ranked Namika Lahti was defeated 82-67 at home by the much higher-ranked KTP-Basket (#4). It was Namika Lahti's eighth consecutive loss in a row. It's Vaino's first season with the team. His total stats this year are: 1.7ppg and 1.5rpg. Vaino is also Estonian U20 national team player.

   #5. Former international center Viljar Veski (215-86, currently plays in Spain) couldn't help Palma (4-8) in their game against Clinicas Rincon (8-4) in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division). He did not have that impressive stats last Saturday. Veski recorded only 2 points in 10 minutes. Palma lost 61-66 in Malaga to the higher-ranked (#3) Clinicas Rincon. It was Palma's third consecutive loss in a row. This year Veski's total stats are: 7.4ppg and 3.0rpg in the 12 games. He used to play for the Estonian national team three years ago.

   #6. Shooting guard Kent-Kaarel Vene (192-94, currently plays in Lithuania) managed to help Zalgiris-Sabonio krepsinio centras to win against the closely-ranked Suduva-Mantinga (15-9) 80-76 in the Lithuanian NKL (second division) on Friday night. Vene scored only 4 points. Zalgiris-Sabonio krepsinio centras (14-10) is placed eighth in the NKL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This season Vene averages just 1.7ppg. He is U18 international player who is currently on the Estonian National Team roster.

Slovenian Point guard Domen Bratoz (189-PG-93) had a great game in the last round for Rapla, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 19. The 23-year old player was the main contributor (21 points, five rebounds and eight assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush TLU/Kalev (#6, 6-13) with 24-point margin 98-74. Defending champion BC Kalev/Cramo Tallinn (Alexela KML) inked experienced 35-year old Bulgarian guard Branko Mirkovic (190-85kg-82, agency: 011 Sports). He has a double citizenship as he also holds Serbian passport. Mirkovic He started the season at CSM CSU Oradea in Romanian Liga Nationala. He managed to play in three leagues this year (!!!). Alexela KML Round 19: TTU are defeated by Kalev/Cramo in a derby game - 1 day ago
The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tallinn: Kalev/Cramo (#2) and TTU (#5). TTU was crushed at home by 28 points 80-108 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The game was mostly controlled by Kalev/Cramo. TTU managed to win fourth quarter 25-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
