We bring you last week's top performances from Estonians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is an international small forward Siim-Sander Vene (203-90, agency: Alti Sport, currently plays in Lithuania). He led Rudupis to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Nevezis (6-7) crushing them 108-87 in the Lithuanian LKL in Saturday night's game. Vene recorded 17 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals in 30 minutes on the court. Rudupis Prienu (12-1) is placed first in the LKL. Vene is ranked third on the list of the most steals in the league with 1.8spg. He also averaged so far 12.0ppg, 6.2rpg, 2.7apg, 2FGP: 57.6%(53-92), 3FGP: 24.2% and FT: 73.7% in the 12 games he played so far. Vene is currently a member of the Estonian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international small forward Kristjan Kangur (201-82, currently plays in Italy). He led Montepaschi Siena to a victory against the league leader Cimberio Varese (15-3) 89-75 in the Italian SerieA last Sunday. Kangur scored 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Montepaschi Siena (13-5) is placed third in the SerieA. It's Kangur's first season with the team. This year he averages: 8.4ppg, 2.8rpg, 2FGP: 55.9%(19-34), 3FGP: 49.3%(33-67) and FT: 77.8%. Kangur is in the roster of the Estonian senior national team.

The Estonian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international power forward Janar Talts (207-83, currently plays in Italy) faced previously mentioned Kristjan Kangur in the Italian SerieA last game. Talts, who plays in the Italian SerieA. He could not help Cimberio Varese (15-3) to beat Montepaschi Siena (13-5). Talts scored only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 14 minutes. The league leader Cimberio Varese lost 75-89 on the road to the lower-ranked (#3) Montepaschi Siena. This year Talts' overall stats are: 3.3ppg, 2.9rpg, 2FGP: 66.7%(22-33), 3FGP: 38.5% in the 18 games. He is also a member of the Estonian senior national team.

Swingman Gregor Arbet (195-83, currently plays in Greece) contributed to a 2-point Kavala's victory against the league outsider Panelefsiniakos (3-12) 68-66 in the Greek A1 in Saturday night's game. Arbet scored 10 points. Enosi Kalathosfairisis Kavalas (4-11) is placed second from the bottom (#13) in the A1. They ended the series of three consecutive loses. Arbet has relatively good stats this season: 12.0ppg and 4.3rpg. He is also Estonian national team player.

U20 international power forward Joonas Vaino (204-92, currently plays in Finland) managed to help Namika Lahti in a victory against Forssan Koripojat 102-95 in the Finnish Korisliiga last Wednesday. Vaino recorded only 2 points in 4 minutes on the court. Namika Lahti (6-21) is located at the very bottom in the Korisliiga. But the situation may improve as they ended a series of four consecutive loses. This year Vaino's total stats are: 1.8ppg and 1.7rpg in the 27 games. He plays currently for the Estonian U20 national team.

TU/Rock - Kalev/Cramo 62-77 Kalev/Cramo outgunned TU/Rock in Tartu and opened 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven championship series. The game was mostly controlled by Kalev/Cramo. TU/Rock managed to win fourth quarter 21-19. Kangur is close to re-sign at Openjobmetis VA - May 24, 2016

Openjobmetis Varese (Serie A) is about to confirm 34-year old Estonian ex-international small forward Kristjan Kangur (201-96kg-82). In nineteen Serie A games he had 8.1ppg, 3.9rpg and 1.6apg this season. Kangur also spent pre-season at Laboral Kutxa (Liga Endesa) in Spanish league earlier that year.
