Raitis Grafs
31-year old center Raitis Grafs (208-C-81) had a very impressive game in the last round for Valga and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 20.
He had a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Tarvas (#2, 17-6) 66-59. Valga maintains the 6th position in Estonian league. Valga is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 10-13 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Grafs as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Valparaiso University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Grafs is in league's top in rebounds (7th best: 7.0rpg).

Second best performed player last round was Rain Raadik (208-C-89) of Parnu. He is international center in his first season at Parnu. In the last game Raadik recorded impressive double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds. Of course Parnu cruised to a 72-62 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Valga (#6, 10-13). Parnu's 7th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 8-12 record. Raadik is a newcomer at Parnu and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Kristjan Makke (205-F/C-81) of TTU (#4). Makke scored 19 points and grabbed five rebounds. He was a key player of TTU, leading his team to a 77-59 easy win against the lower-ranked Hito/Johvi (#9, 1-20). TTU needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 9 lost games. Makke has a very solid season. In 15 games in Estonia he scored 10.9ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Augustas Peciukevicius (192-G-91) of Parnu - 17 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Raido Ringmets (206-C/F-83) of Rapla - 10 points and 12 rebounds
6. Kristo Saage (185-PG-85) of TU/Rock - 22 points and 2 assists
7. Sasa Djordjevic (190-G-85) of Valga - 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Janis Vahter (193-F-86) of Tln Kalev - 16 points and 7 rebounds
9. Ivan Nelyubov (207-C-88) of TU/Rock - 13 points and 10 rebounds
10. Andre Parn (202-F-77) of Rapla - 10 points and 10 rebounds

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
