Vaidotas
Volkus
Lithuania Forward Vaidotas Volkus (203-F-85) had a great game in the last round for Parnu, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 31-year old player was the main contributor (27 points, eight rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out TTU (#2, 3-1) 82-79. Parnu maintains the 6th position in Estonia Alexela KML. Parnu is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. In the team's last game Volkus had a remarkable 81.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be Parnu's top player in his first season with the team. Former Redlands CC star has very solid stats this year. Volkus is league's best scorer averaging so far 22.8ppg. Volkus is in league's top in and averages impressive 68.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 33-year old Janar Talts (205-PF-83) of league's leader TU/Rock. Talts had a very good evening with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Of course he led TU/Rock to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Valga (#3, 3-1) 89-67. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. TU/Rock consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 3 games without any defeat. Talts is one of the most experienced players at TU/Rock and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.3ppg (#7). He also registered 5.7 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was ) of league's second-best TTU. scored 15 points. Despite 's great performance TTU lost 79-82 to the lower-ranked Parnu (#6, 2-2). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing TTU needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 3 victories and 1 lost games. has a great season in Estonia. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 8.5ppg (best scorer), rebounds with 3.5rpg (#1 in league) and assists with 1.0apg (best passer).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Forrest Robinson (208-F-93) of TU/Rock - 21 points and 8 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
