Justin Baker
American Justin Baker (203-F/C-89) had a great game in the last round for Tarvas and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 27-year old power forward had the game-high 25 points adding nine rebounds and four assists for Tarvas in his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Noorteliiga (#9, 0-11) with 32-point margin 107-75. Thanks to this victory Tarvas moved-up to the 8th position in Estonian Alexela KML. Tarvas is currently ranked second from the bottom. They need more victories to improve their 4-9 record. In the team's last game Baker had a remarkable 81.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be Tarvas' top player in his first season with the team. Utah Valley University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Baker is in league's top in points (2nd best: 20.5ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 9.0rpg) and averages solid 65.0% FGP. Worth to mention Baker played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 23-year old Serbian center Djordje Dzeletovic (205-C-93, agency: AproK Sports Group) of TLU/Kalev. Dzeletovic impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he led TLU/Kalev to another comfortable win outscoring slightly higher-ranked TTU (#5, 7-5) 82-62. This victory allowed TLU/Kalev to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-10 record. Dzeletovic is one of the most experienced players at TLU/Kalev and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.0ppg (#1). He also registered 7.0 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another Tarvas' star - Oliver Metsalu (196-F/G-93). Metsalu scored 28 points. He was another key player of Tarvas, helping his team with a 107-75 easy win against Noorteliiga (#9, 0-11). The chances of Tarvas not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 9 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Metsalu could try to bring Tarvas' a little bit higher in the standings. Metsalu has a very solid season. In 11 games in Estonia he scored 11.0ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Martin Paasoja (191-SG-93) of Rapla - 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Venky Jois (202-F-93) of TU/Rock - 18 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Dominykas Milka (203-C-92) of TU/Rock - 20 points and 9 rebounds
7. Reinar Hallik (208-F/C-84) of Parnu - 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists
8. Domagoj Bubalo (212-C-91) of Parnu - 13 points and 11 rebounds
9. Kristo Saage (186-PG-85) of TLU/Kalev - 18 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Renato Lindments (202-F-84) of Valga - 13 points and 12 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
