The most important game in the last round took place in Rapla between third ranked Rapla (9-5) and seventh ranked TLU/Kalev (6-11) on Saturday night. Rapla was defeated by TLU/Kalev in a tough game at home 63-70. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 36-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Kristo Saage (186-85) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian center Djordje Dzeletovic (205-93, agency: AproK Sports Group) who added 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Dutch center Thomas van der Mars (208-90, college: Portland) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds. TLU/Kalev moved-up to sixth place. Rapla lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with five games lost. TLU/Kalev will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Rapla will play on the road against BC Rakvere and is hoping to win this game.

The game between Top Four teams took place in Parnu. 4th ranked host Parnu (9-9) lost to first ranked TU/Rock (15-2) 67-62. Parnu was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. The winners were led by the former international point guard Tanel Sokk (187-85) who scored that evening 19 points and 4 assists and the former international Gert Dorbek (193-85) supported him with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Even 14 points by point guard Norman Kabin (188-97, agency: BeoBasket) did not help to save the game for Parnu. Croatian center Domagoj Bubalo (212-91) added 8 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. TU/Rock have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 15-2 record. Parnu at the other side dropped to the fifth place with nine games lost. TU/Rock will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Parnu will play at home against TTU (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked BC Rakvere's (5-11) road loss to fifth ranked TTU (9-6) 86-92. The hosts were ahead by 10 points but lost the second period ending it with a 4-point deficit before their 33-23 run, which allowed them to win the game. TTU made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. The winners were led by the former international forward Joonas Jarvelainen (202-90, agency: Octagon Europe) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and Kiur Akenparg (190-88) supported him with 20 points. Even 23 points and 7 rebounds by point guard Siim-Markus Post (183-97) did not help to save the game for BC Rakvere. Forward Tonis Peil (196-93) added 15 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. TTU moved-up to fourth place. BC Rakvere at the other side dropped to the seventh position with 11 games lost. TTU will play against Parnu (#5) on the road in the next round. BC Rakvere will play against Rapla and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Kosovo - Estonia 75-69 Kosovo qualified into the next round of the World Cup qualifiers. They held off visiting Estonia 75-69 to finish second in Group C. Estonian ended up on top with a 3-1 record. Maccabi Rishon Le-Zion (Winner League) inked 25-year old American power forward Mark Tollefsen (206-90kg-92, college: Arizona). He played most recently at Kalev/Cramo in Estonian Alexela KML. Tollefsen managed to play in three leagues last year (!!!). In 28 Alexela KML games he averaged 12.0ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.3apg. He helped them to win the league title and the cup.
