The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tallinn: Kalev/Cramo (#2) and TTU (#5). TTU was crushed at home by 28 points 80-108 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The game was mostly controlled by Kalev/Cramo. TTU managed to win fourth quarter 25-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kalev/Cramo dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to TTU's 38 and made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They outrebounded TTU 46-24 including a 32-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Belarusian Vitali Liutych (198-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international point guard Sten-Timmu Sokk (184-89) helped adding 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. At the losing side Sten Olmre (192-95) responded with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kalev/Cramo (14-2) have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains second place having 3 victories less than leader Tartu Ulikool. TTU at the other side keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. Kalev/Cramo are looking forward to face Rapla (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. TTU's supporters also look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tallinn to the arena TLU/Kalev.

It was a quality performance for the former international Janar Talts (206-83) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Janari Joesaar accounted for 19 points and 9 rebounds. Tartu Ulikool's coach Gert Kullamae allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international center Rain Raadik (208-89) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds for Valga in the defeat. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Tartu Ulikool. They maintain first place with 17-2 record. Valga at the other side keeps the seventh position with 14 games lost. Tartu Ulikool will play against BC Rakvere (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Valga will play against TTU in Tallinn and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Alexela KML top team - Tartu Ulikool (17-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat seventh ranked Valga (6-14) 85-69. The game was mostly controlled by Tartu Ulikool. Valga was better in fourth quarter 21-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 20-of-23 charity shots (87.0 percent) during the game. Sportivo Luqueno (Metropolitan League) agreed terms with 25-year old American power forward Willie Readus (201-113kg-92, college: Delta State, agency: DTMones). BC Kalev/Cramo defeated Avis Utilitas Rapla 91:62 on the road and was crowned a champion for the 9th time with a 4:0 sweep. Kalev/Cramo started the game with a huge 15:2 run but the hosts managed to come back as they trailed 29:32 only in the middle of the second.
