Chevakata - Dynamo K. 62-71
Dynamo Kursk did a great job against Chevakata in Game One of the EuroCup Semifinals. Dynamo celebrated 62-71 road victory on Thursday night transferring 9-point lead to the second meeting. Of course, Dynamo will be the host in that one. Anna Petrakova (189-PF-84) was the leading player in victory with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Temeka Johnson (160-PG-82, agency: Josep and Nicolas, college: LSU) and Ausra Bimbaite (178-SG-82) followed her with 13 points each. Michelle Snow (196-C-80, agency: LBM Management, college: Tennessee) was another player with very important role as she had double-double of 11 points and 13 rebounds. At the other side, Chevakata got 13 points from Juliya Kiseleva (200-C-85, agency: LBM Management). Jessica Davenport (196-C-85, college: Ohio St.) had 12 points and 5 rebs, while Katerina Keyru (182-G/F-88) stopped to 10 pts. Quarters: 12-21, 16-17, 16-19, 18-14. As mentioned above, the second game will be played in Kursk. The winner of this two-game duel will advance to the Finals.

Kayseri - Botas 77-65
Kayseri and Botas met last night in Game One of the EuroCup Semifinals. The home squad was better and managed to celebrate 77-65 victory. It means that Kayseri will go to Botas next week with plus 12 on its 'account'. Botas will be the host and the winner of this two-game duel will advance to EuroCup Finals. It will meet Dynamo Kursk or Chevakata. LaToya Sanders (191-PF-86, college: N.Carolina) stepped up for Kayseri with 20 points and 9 rebounds. She reached valuation 39! Nakia Sanford (194-C-76, agency: LBM Management, college: Kansas) had 18 points and 11 boards, while Bahar Ozturk (183-G/F-84, college: Connecticut) helped with 13 points and 5 rebs. In Botas, Courtney Paris (193-C-87, college: Oklahoma) exploded with 19 points and 22 rebounds. Monica Wright (180-F-88, agency: LBM Management, college: Virginia) and Quianna Chaney (180-G/F-86, college: LSU) scored 17 and 14 points respectively. Quarters: 22-17, 21-14, 17-19, 17-15. Game Two is scheduled for next Thursday.

TSV 1880 Wasserburg (DBBL) landed 29-year old American forward Rebecca Tobin (195-88, college: Arizona State). She played in the summer at Indias in Puerto Rican BSNF. In 10 games she averaged impressive 18.0ppg, 11.5rpg, 2.5apg and 1.3bpg. Tobin helped them to make it to the semifinals. Senegalese-Spanish Center Astou Ndour (198-C-94, agency: Josep and Nicolas) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked Ragusa, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 6. The 22-year old player had a double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds, while her team beat Nymburk (#2, 4-2) 58-53. It allowed Ragusa to take over top position in the EuroCup group E.
