The Russian squad had 14-point deficit after the first game against Kayseri, but they exploded when it mattered most and blasted visitors tonight with huge 75-52. It was enough for the final 130-121 win after two games. Michelle Snow (196-C-80, agency: LBM Management, college: Tennessee) had amazing night collecting 30 points and 11 rebounds. She reached valuation 38 and was the MVP of this meeting. Anna Petrakova (189-PF-84) also was great adding 16 points and 8 boards, while Ausra Bimbaite (178-SG-82) helped with 14 points, 8 rebs and 6 assists. In the loosing squad, LaToya Sanders (191-PF-86, college: N.Carolina) responded with 27 points and 10 rebs (valuation 36). Kayseri did not have anyone else with double-digits in scoring. Bahar Ozturk (183-G/F-84, college: Connecticut) had 8 points and Anna De Forge (178-SG-76, agency: Josep and Nicolas, college: Nebraska) stopped to 6 pts with poor shot percentage. Dynamo made 24-13 in the first quarter and jumped to plus 13 until the halftime. Nothing has changed after the breather as Dynamo continued to extend its lead and they reached 56-39 with ten minutes to go. In 10 games she averaged impressive 18.0ppg, 11.5rpg, 2.5apg and 1.3bpg. Tobin helped them to make it to the semifinals. Bad luck as Lulea Basket was edged by slightly higher-ranked Udominate (#3, 3-3) 73-71. Barthold is one of the most experienced players at Lulea Basket and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.
Third on the list of top players last round was guard Shay Doron (175-SG-85) of league's top team Maccabi Ashdod. Doron got into 30-points club by scoring 36 points in the last round. She went also for five rebounds and four assists. She was a key player of Maccabi Ashdod, leading her team to a 82-81 win against Cegledi EKK. Maccabi Ashdod confirms their top position in group A. Doron has a very solid season. In 5 games in EuroCup she scored 12.0ppg.
