Renaldas Seibutis (195-G-85) scored 21 points to lead the winners. Lietuvos Rytas took care of sloppy Spartak attitude in the first frame. The Lithuanian team stormed into the game taking a 24:10 lead after ten minutes. Spartak woke up in the second quarter. They stiffened their defence and started their comeback. The Russian team cut the deficit to 10 points at halftime 30:40. Lietuvos Rytas stayed alert in the third term keeping Spartak at distance. The Vilnius team secured a comfortable 11-point lead at the final intermission 55:44.
