Announced by acb.com, the assistant coach of Valencia Basket, Jesus Mulero renewed his contract with the club and now, he will stay until the end of 2014 season. It was now, his 8th year with Valencia and he intends to reach 10 years. 'That's what I want. I was comfortable and happy here and so integrated to the club.' Mulero worked 17 years at Valladolid, coaching younger age groups, became the asistant coach in 1994 and eventually, became the head coach at 2002-2003 season.

Valencia - Hapoel J-M 90-75 Valencia entered EuroCup Finals. They rallied past Hapoel Jerusalem in the decisive third game to join Unicaja in the championship series. The game was mostly controlled by Valencia Basket. Hapoel Jerusalem managed to win fourth quarter 25-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Unicaja - Lokomotiv 74-63 Unicaja overcame Lokomotiv at home court to sweep the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Unicaja Malaga. Lokomotiv managed to win second period 13-10. Valencia Basket (Liga Endesa) agreed terms with 23-year old American power forward Mike Tobey (213-116kg-94, college: Virginia). He just played at Charlotte Hornets in the NBA. But in two games he had only 1.0ppg and 1.5rpg this season. Tobey also played earlier that season for another team Greensboro Swarm in NBA where in 35 games he recorded 12.0ppg, 9.0rpg, 1.0apg and 1.3bpg.
