In case that Mallet needs more time to recover, the Dragons will also extend Valters. Kristaps Valters played last season for Unicaja Malaga. He had 8.2 ppg and 3 apg for 13 games. The player also added 9.4 ppg and 2.4 apg for 29 games in Liga Endesa. Before Unicaja, Valters played one year for Fuenlabrada. The point guard registered 10.4 ppg, 4.5 apg and 2.7 rpg in 34 games. Second best performed player last round was Peyton Siva (183-PG-90) of ALBA. He is American guard in his first season at ALBA. In the last game Siva recorded impressive double-double of 16 points and 10 assists. Of course he led ALBA to another comfortable win 93-76 over Cedevita (0-3) being unquestionably team leader. The Second Stage is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Siva is a newcomer at ALBA and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to guard Ryan Toolson (193-G-85) of Zenit. Toolson scored 28 points. He was a key player of Zenit, leading his team to a 101-81 easy win against Hapoel J-M (2-1). Zenit needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams.
