American Courtney Fells (198-SF-86) had a very impressive game in the last round for Hapoel J-M, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 5. The 26-year old player was the main contributor (25 points, seven rebounds and five assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Rudupis (2-3) 92-79. Hapoel J-M is placed at 3rd position in Eurocup group A. Hapoel J-M is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-3 record. In the team's last game Fells had a remarkable 90.9% from 2-point range. He turned to be Hapoel J-M's top player in his first season with the team. Former North Carolina State University star has very solid stats this year. Fells is in league's top in rebounds (8th best: 7.2rpg) and averages impressive 54.2% FGP.
The second best player in last round's games was 23-year old American Malcolm Delaney (191-G-89) of league's second-best Budivelnyk. Delaney had a very good evening with 28 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course Budivelnyk cruised to a 72-62 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked CEZ Nymburk (3-2). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in group A. Budivelnyk consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team's 3-2 record is not bad at all. Delaney is a newcomer at Budivelnyk, but is already one of team's top players.
Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Drake Diener (196-G-81, agency: Priority Sports) of league's second-best Banco di Sard.. Diener got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for nine rebounds . He was a key player of Banco di Sard., leading his team to a 85-76 win against #3 ranked Cajasol. The chances of Banco di Sard. ranking at the top of group H, however are very questionable as they have already lost 3 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Diener could help Banco di Sard. to bring them higher in the standings. Diener has a great season in Eurocup. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 4.0apg (best passer).

Last Saturday, the Slovak center scored 13 points (5/7) and grabbed 8 rebounds and 3 blocks.
His great mobility for a player his size and very effective shots allowed him to dominate last games in Belgium. When he combines those skills with his quickness, good hands and patience, Fusek can become one of the hardest big men to stop.
Fusek is also a great shot blocker, ranks first with 4 blocks per 40 min, due to his incredible height and decent timing.
Fusek averages 15.5 points and 12.25 rebounds per 40 min in Belgium
