Valencia Basket (ACB) landed 29-year old French international small forward Mickael Gelabale (201-83, agency: Three Eye Sports). He played recently at Cedevita in Croatian A1 league. In 10 Euroleague games this season he averaged 12.8ppg, 4.9rpg and 1.3apg. He also played 12 games in Adriatic League where he had 10.8ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.0apg. The last season Gelabale played at Khimky in Russian PBL. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 12 PBL games he had 4.5ppg and 2.5rpg. He helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team. Gelabale also played 6 games in Eurocup where he had 4.2ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.5apg. He also played 7 games in VTB United League where he had 3.6ppg and 2.4rpg. Gelabale also played at Spirou Charleroi in Belgian Ethias League earlier that season.
He won Eurocup championship title.
The previous (10-11) season he played at ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket in French ProA. Similarly like in the last season, the team also played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and Gelabale was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 36 ProA games he had 14.2ppg, 4.8rpg and 2.1apg. He contributed to his team making it to the semifinals. Gelabale also played 4 games in Euroleague where he had 10.3ppg, 4.8rpg, 2.5apg and 1.0spg. He also played 6 games in Eurocup where he had 12.2ppg, 5.7rpg, 2.8apg and 1.2spg.
In 2005 Gelabale was drafted by Seattle Supersonics (NBA) in second round (48th overall).
Among other achievements Gelabale received Eurobasket.com All-World Championships Honorable Mention award in 2010.
He has been also a member of French international program for some years. Gelabale has has regularly played for Senior National Team since 2005 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2001. He represented France at the Olympic Games in London (United Kingdon) this year. His stats at that event were 6 games: 7.8ppg, 3.5rpg, 1.3apg, FGP: 57.7%, 3PT: 26.3%, FT: 66.7%.
Gelabale is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in USA, NBA (LA Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder), Spain (Real Madrid), France (Cholet) and D-League (Idaho Stampede and Los Angeles D-Fenders).

23-year old Royce O'Neale (198-SF-93) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Gran Canaria and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 6 (Top 16). He had the game-high 19 points adding seven rebounds and six assists for Gran Canaria in his team's victory, helping them to crush Fuenlabrada (#3, 2-4) with 24-point margin 100-76. Jimmy Baron agreed terms with Lietuvos rytas - 12 days ago
Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius (LKL) strengthened their roster with addition of 31-year old American guard Jimmy Baron (191-89kg-86, college: Rhode Island). He started the season at Neptunas (LKL).
