Harper
ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (ProA) signed 28-year old American forward Justin Harper (208-102kg-89, college: Richmond). He played last season at Globalport in Filipino PBA league. In four games he had very impressive stats: 25.8ppg, 11.5rpg and 1.0apg.
Harper won D-League Pacific Division championship title. He was selected to D-League All-Star Game in 2016 and 2017.
The previous (15-16) season Harper played at another team D Fenders in U.S. NBA-G-League where in 51 games he recorded also remarkable stats: 16.0ppg, 6.2rpg and 1.8apg. He helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team.
In 2011 Harper was drafted by Cleveland Cavaliers (NBA) in second round (32nd overall). He attended University of Richmond and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
Harper is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Israel (Hapoel Tel Aviv), Italy (Scandone Avellino), NBA (Detroit Pistons, Brooklyn Nets, Orlando Magic and Phi.76ers), France (Strasbourg IG) and NBA G League (Salt Lake City Stars).
Harper could be described: Has excellent size for the power forward position. Above average athlete, as well, with decent quickness in the open floor and good explosiveness around the basket. Most effective spotting up around the perimeter, where he finds over a quarter of his possessions. Lightning quick release and a consistent, fluid shooting motion. Solid basketball IQ.
