After the game and for the needs of his blog, being kept on gazetta.gr, Mike Batiste wrote on his blog the following:
Hello again I just wanted to share with you the experience of my first game, for this year. Man, I was really nervous! I mean I'm nervous at every game, cause you know what they are saying: if you are not nervous, you 're not ready to play! After I 've showed up, once I got in, as always minute by minute the nervousness went away. I tried to stay calm, as much as possible. of course, cause 'Tsartsa' and me got back to a knock out game. I tried to be really serious, coming of the injury and with the pressure I put to myself, to help as much I can my guys. To tell you the truth, what happened yesterday, during the warm up, when Saras made some shots to the one end and 'Tsartsa' and me were doing for the first time this year, what we normally do, before each game, gave me the butterflies! During the game, we showed what we can do. 'Peka' was out, but he will comes back soon. I think he will be ready for Sunday's game. As for Saras, he should be back at the beginning of December. He practices with the team and he is looking really good. Now he has to find his full strength. We know were we are. We have to keep working together as a team, I need to work harder, cause against Panellinios I made a couple of mistakes, which will be well corrected over 2-3 practices. I need time to get back to my full strength. The more I work with the team, I will be OK. Cause I have to reach at the same level, all the other guys -who had no injuries- are. Our coach referred yesterday to the absence of our fans. I believe they should be there, at every game, no matter the opponent. We are the champions of Europe. And we have the greatest fans, who must show at every game. You know, it feels a little bit. dead when we are going out there and there is nobody to the stands. But when we are showing to the court and the gym is full, this great energy that our fans can create, is everything we need to play even better. The thing is that we are the champions and we have to show it at every single game. They are the greatest fans, so. they have to show it at every single game! Fans come to me, when they see me and they demand things. To win this game etc. We have also a demand from them: to see at least 10.000 of them, every night. Not just at the games o Euroleague or the great games for the Greek championship. There are times when we really need the totally unbelievable atmosphere they can create! Till next time, God bless you

One of the most developing parts of the world from a basketball perspective - the Middle East - finally has its own web site: MiddleEastBasketball.com. It provides the deepest on-line basketball coverage in both Middle Eastern and Arabic countries. MiddleEastBasketball.com is the part of Eurobasket network. Eurobasket's system currently provides the most detailed basketball coverage available online. Sometimes, the vast amount of information on the web causes it to be difficult for a user to filter out the news they're searching for. That's why we decided to open a network of market-oriented basketball websites. The first one is a website about Middle East basketball; MiddleEastBasketball.com provides coverage of basketball news from countries like Lebanon, Jordan, Iran, Kuwait all way to Egypt, Algeria and Morocco. We also plan to introduce a basketball agents oriented website in the near future, along with a basketball video website and our summer league website. The deep and extensive amount of basketball data we collect creates an unparalleled potential for expansion in providing basketball info from various points. Stay tuned for more news about expansion of our network!
