American Aaron Jackson (193-G-86) had an amazing evening in the last round for Gescrap Bilbao and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 4 (Top 16).
The 25-year old guard got a double-double of 15 points and ten assists, while his team crushed Real Madrid (2-2) with 24-point margin 93-69. Bilbao shares the second place in Group F with defeated Real Madrid (2-2 record). It's Jackson's second year at Bilbao and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Aaron Jackson averages this season 8.6ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 22-year old Georgian center Giorgi Shermadini (216-C-89) of Bennet Cantu. Shermadini impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Bennet Cantu lost that game 60-75 to Maccabi T-A (2-2). Cantu and Maccabi have 2-2 record in Group H. Shermadini is a newcomer at Cantu and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Oliver Lafayette (188-G-84) of Anadolu Efes. Lafayette scored 22 points and grabbed five rebounds. Despite Lafayette's great performance Anadolu Efes lost 65-67 toOlympiakos. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Anadolu Efes dropped to 1-3 record in Group E. Lafayette has a very solid season. In 4 games in Euroleague he scored 10.3ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Juan Carlos Navarro (192-G-80) of FCB Regal - 18 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists
5. Joshua Shipp (196-G/F-86) of Galatasaray - 22 points and 2 rebounds
6. Gerald Fitch (191-G-82) of Unicaja - 15 points and 3 rebounds
7. Bo McCalebb (183-PG-85) of Montepaschi - 18 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Alex Mumbru (202-F-79) of Gescrap BB - 16 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists
9. Stanko Barac (217-C-86) of Anadolu Efes - 16 points and 7 rebounds
10. Leon Radosevic (206-C-90) of Armani MI - 11 points and 5 rebounds

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
