The reigning champion ended with 4-2 record and advanced to Playoffs. Unics also reached the next stage thanks to Fenerbahce Ulker's loss in Milano. Unics ended as No.2 in this pool with 3-3 record. Mike Batiste (203-F-77, college: Arizona St.) stepped up for PAO with 12 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams failed to reach the Playoffs. Malik Hairston (198-G-87, college: Oregon) shined for the winners with 27 points. Alessandro Gentile (197-G/F-92) had 12 points and Omar-Sharif Cook (186-PG-82, agency: Beo Basket, college: St.John's) added 10 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds. Ernest Bremer (194-G-80, agency: Higher Vision Sports, college: St.Bonaventure) also scored 10 pts for the hosts. In FB Ulker, Emir Preldzic (205-F-87, agency: Beo Basket) had 15 points and 5 assists, and Bojan Bogdanovic (203-G/F-89) netted 14 points. Manuchar Markoishvili (196-G-86) exploded Cantu in this meeting. He drained 32 points and reached valuation 35. Markoishvili made 5 triples and was perfect from the line (9/9). Barca had 64-62 lead with something more than 2 minutes to go, after that Huertas and Hendrix traded triples. Wallace missed from downtown, but he grabbed offensive rebound and drew a foul. Wallace split foul the shots and Ohayon scored in the paint for a 68-67 score with 6.3 left. Maccabi fouled Mickeal, who calmly made free throws. Visitors had a chance to tie the game, but Pnini missed from downtown at the buzzer. Quarters: 19-21, 15-12, 17-11, 19-23. Barcelona will meet Unics in the Quarterfinals. In the last game Melli recorded impressive 26 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Brose Bask. was edged by the higher-ranked CSKA (#1, 9-1) 90-88. Brose Bask. are still at the very bottom. 8 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Brose Bask. managed to get this year. Melli is well-known at Brose Bask. and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders.
Third place about best performers goes to guard Keith Langford (193-SG-83) of Unics (#14). Langford scored 25 points and passed four assists. He was a key player of Unics, leading his team to a 100-79 easy win against slightly higher-ranked EA7 Armani (#13, 4-6). The chances of Unics not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 7 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Langford could try to bring Unics' a little bit higher in the standings. Langford has individually a great season in Euroleague. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.2ppg (best scorer).

Zeljko Obradovic and Fenerbahce have agreed on terms of contract extension. The new deal is for three season. The Serbian specialist took over Fenerbahce back in 2013. He was named All-Turkish League Coach of the Year back in 2016. He led the team to the Turkish League titles in 2014 and 2016.
