Candice
Dupree
USO Mondeville made an impact start, beating CCC Polkowice away, while Candice Dupree (188-F/C-84, agency: LBM Management, college: Temple)'s 26 points were essential to Spartak's victory. Lus Cristvo presents the notes on the Euroleague Women Week 1.

It's always good to start with a win, but making it away and overtime and you'll feel the happiest player in the world. Those were the feelings of USO Mondeville's team when the game finished at Polkowice. The teams still searching for their best form in the French League, but were amazing in their Euroleague Women start. The game was very balanced since the first second, but USO Mondeville's impressive defense at overtime gave them a tasty win, which turned out to be this week big surprise.

Emotions were alive at Targoviste, where the Romanian team made their first game in the competition. When, during the third quarter, CSM Targoviste reached a 6-points lead, their fans felt like living a dream. But the experimented Italian side had still something to show in the last minutes. Laura Macchi, with a 3-point shot, put Famila Schio ahead, finishing this fantastic game with a memorable play.

Candice Dupree was more than happy with their performance at the Euroleague Women opening, scoring 26 points and grabbing 8 rebounds during the Spartak's win over Tarsus. The Russian side made a fabulous first half and saw the Turkish get near during the second 20 minutes, but the North American Power Forward finished the game with an impressive mark.
