Group A
IMOS Brno - UNI Gyor 86-61
IMOS Brno edged visiting UNI Gyor in Czech Republic. The hosts improved to 2-5 record after an 86:61 win. It was a great shooting night for IMOS Brno especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 69.2 percentage. The best player for the winners was Farhiya Abdi (188-F-92) who scored 22 points. Tereza Peckova (189-F-87) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Ieva Kublina produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and Nora Nagy-Bujdoso (185-F-85, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. IMOS Brno moved-up to sixth place in Group A. Defending Hungarian champion UNI Gyor keeps the fifth position with four games lost. IMOS Brno will have a break next round. UNI Gyor will play at home against Wisla Can-Pak in Krakow.

Tarsus Bld - Spartak V MR 79-83
Russian leader Spartak Moscow Region delivered the sixth victory on Wednesday night. This time they beat Turkish Tarsus Bld 83:79 in Mersin. Tarsus Bld was trailing by 8 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 22-14 charge of Spartak Vidnoye, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was Candice Dupree who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds. Isabelle Yacoubou-Dehoui (190-C-86) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Danielle Marie Robinson (178-G-89, college: Oklahoma) produced 26 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and Delisha Milton-Jones (186-PF-74, agency: Josep and Nicolas, college: Florida) added 14 points and 13 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Spartak Vidnoye maintains first position in Group A with 6-1 record. Tarsus Bld dropped to the bottom place with six games lost. Spartak Vidnoye will face Bourges on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tarsus Bld will play against Rivas Ecopolis.

Wisla Can-Pak - Bourges 68-64
Wisla Can-Pak have a solid four-game winning streak after a home victory over Bourges. The Polish side needed a 68:64 win for 4-3 record. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Bourges. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 21-12. But Bourges won third quarter 19-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by Tina Charles (193-C-88, agency: LBM Management, college: Connecticut) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 33 points and 15 rebounds and Alana Beard supported her with 20 points. Even 13 points and 9 rebounds by Emmeline Ndongue (192-C-83) did not help to save the game for Bourges. Celine Dumerc (169-G-82) added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the guests. Defending Polish champion maintains third position in Group A with 4-3 record having just two points less than leader Spartak V MR. Bourges keep the second place with two games lost. Wisla Can-Pak's next round opponent will be UNI Gyor on the road. Bourges will play against the league's leader Spartak Vidnoye.

Group B
Good Angels - Nadezhda O. 77-67
Good Angels sneak past Nadezhda in Round 8 of EuroLeague. The Slovakian team improved to 5-2 record after a 77:67 victory. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Nadezhda Orenburg. It was a key game for the second position in Group B. The game was mostly controlled by Good Angels. Nadezhda Orenburg managed to win second period 26-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Petra Kulichova who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 9 rebounds and Allie Quigley (180-G-86, college: De Paul) who added 21 points during the contest. Natalia Zhedik (184-SF-88) responded with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and DeWanna Bonner (193-G-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas, college: Auburn) scored 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Nadezhda Orenburg dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. Good Angels will meet MKB Euroleasing in the next round. Nadezhda Orenburg will play against the league's leader Familia Schio.

Arras - UNIQA Eurol. 55-74
Milovanovic and Krnjic pace MKB Euroleasing in France for the second win in EuroLeague this season. They both scored 22 points in a 74:55 win. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 74:55. MKB Euroleasing dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Arras' 30 and made 18-of-19 free shots during the game. The best player for the winners was Sara Krnjic (196-C-91) who scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. Jelena Milovanovic chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds. Sandra Dijon (193-C-79) produced 9 points and 7 rebounds and Olesia Malashenko (189-PF-91, agency: LBM Management) added 14 points respectively for the hosts. MKB Euroleasing maintains sixth position in Group B with 2-5 record. Arras still closes the standings with seven games lost. MKB Euroleasing will face league's second-placed Good Angels in Kosice in the next round.


Familia Schio - Targoviste 66:62

Familia Schio closed Round 8 with the win over Targoviste and took 6-1 record on top of B of EuroLeague. The Italian team won 66:62 on Thursday night.
The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 23-13. But CSM Targoviste won second period 17-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Familia Schio forced 21 CSM Targoviste turnovers. The best player for the winners was Jantel
Jantel Lavender (190-C-88, college: Ohio St.) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds. Danielle Danielle McCray (186-SG-87, college: Kansas) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Milka Milka Bjelica (193-F-81, agency: LBM Management) produced 9 points and 16 rebounds and Jillian Jillian Robbins (190-F-84, agency: LBM Management, college: Tulsa) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests.
Defending Romanian champion CSM Targoviste keeps the fifth place with four games lost. Familia Schio will face Nadezhda Orenburg on the road in the next round. CSM Targoviste will play against Fenerbahce in Istanbul.






Group C
Galatasaray - Novi Zagreb 77-50
Galatasaray stun Novi Zagreb in Istanbul for 6-1 record. The Turkish side did not have any difficulties in a 77:50 win. The game was mostly controlled by Galatasaray. Lupa Promotion was better in second period 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Lupa Promotion to just 5 points in fourth quarter. The best player for the winners was Sancho Lyttle (192-C-83, college: Houston) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. Isil Alben (170-G-86) chipped in 13 points and 6 assists. Sandra Mandir (177-G-77) produced 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Sena Pavetic (197-C-86) added 12 points respectively for the guests. Galatasaray maintains second position in Group C with 6-1 record. Lupa Promotion stays at the bottom place with six games lost. Galatasaray will face USK Praha on the road in the next round. Lupa Promotion will play against the league's leader UMMC Ekaterinburg.

Mondeville - CCC Polkowice 65-63
Lassiter brings the tough win for Mondeville against CCC Polkowice. She scored the last shot after the teams were tied and top-scored with 18 points in a 65:63 victory. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Amanda Lassiter (186-F-79, college: Missouri) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Laetitia Kamba (187-F-87) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Nnemkadi Ogwumike (189-F/C-90, college: Stanford) replied with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Belinda Snell added 11 points in the effort for CCC Polkowice. Mondeville maintains third position in Group C with 4-3 record having just two points less than leader Spartak V MR. CCC Polkowice at the other side dropped to the fifth place with five games lost. Mondeville will have a break next round, while CCC Polkowice will play against Perfumerias Avenida.

Perfumerias - USK Praha 65-78
USK Praha enjoy the road win in Salamanca against Perfumerias Avenida. The Czech Champions celebrated a 78:65 win for 3-4 record. The Spanish side fell at 2-5 record in Group C. USK Praha led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Perfumerias Avenida's 36. The best player for the winners was Rebekkah Brunson (191-F/C-81, agency: LBM Management, college: Georgetown) who scored 21 points and 8 rebounds. Jelena Skerovic (176-G-80, agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists. Marta Xargay Casademont (181-PG-90, agency: Josep and Nicolas) produced 15 points and 5 assists and Le'Coe Willingham (183-C-81, agency: Josep and Nicolas, college: Auburn) added 16 points respectively for the hosts. Defending Czech champion moved-up to fourth place in Group C. Perfumerias Avenida at the other side dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. USK Praha are looking forward to face league's second-placed Galatasaray in Istanbul in the next round. Perfumerias Avenida will play against CCC Polkowice.
