American center Candace Parker (193-C-86) had a very impressive game in the last round for top-ranked UMMC, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 26-year old player had a double-double of 26 points and 14 rebounds, while her team crushed USK Praha (#5, 3-6) with 19-point margin 94-75. It allowed UMMC to consolidate first place in the Euroleague group C. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and UMMC keeps perfect 8 -0 record. In the team's last game Parker had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. She turned to be UMMC's top player in her first season with the team. Former University of Tennessee star has very solid stats this year. Parker is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 9.8rpg) and averages impressive 1.4bpg and 60.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 24-year old American Jantel Lavender (190-C-88) of league's second-best Familia Schio. Lavender had a very good evening with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course she lead Familia Schio to another comfortable win 89-71 over the lower-ranked UNIQA Eurol. (#6, 2-7) being unquestionably team leader. Familia Schio's second position in group B has not changed. Her team's 7-2 record is not bad at all. Lavender is a newcomer at Familia Schio, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Spanish guard Natasha Lacy (178-G-85, agency: Merit Sports) of league's top team Good Angels. Lacy showcased her all-around game by recording 9 points, ten rebounds and four assists in the last round. She was a key player of Good Angels, leading her team to a 78-52 easy win against Arras (#7, 0-8). Good Angels confirms their top position in group B. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 2 lost games. Lacy has a very solid season. In 6 games in Euroleague she scored 8.3ppg. She also has 6.3rpg, 3.2apg and FGP: 53.8%.

10. Natalia Vieru (196-C-89) of Spartak V MR - 14 points and 8 rebounds

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

UMMC - Nadezhda 72:69 UMMC celebrated their third EuroLeague title tonight. Diana Taurasi (182-SG-82, college: Connecticut) nailed 22 points to lead the Ekaterinburg team past their Russian rivals Nadezhda in an exciting Final clash in Istanbul. It was never easy for UMMC.
