Maccabi Tel-Aviv suffered a heavy blow as they lost Lior Eliyahu (206-SF-85) to the injury. The forward is expected to miss around two weeks of action after he sustained a knee injury. Lior Eliyahu suffered an injury during a weekend Cup game against Hapoel Holon. He strained his knee ligaments. Lior Eliyahu averages 12.1 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.1 steals per game in the Winner League this season. His stats also read 10.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game in EuroLeague.
